I can relate. My parents have nine children. People don’t like us because there is too many of us. More so because all the older ones are girls. They say we won’t amount to anything. My dad always left us at home. He was embarrassed of us. He hated us along with his cousins. Now that we’re all grown up, my dad sees how we treat my mom and now he says he loves us. We are old enough to know the difference. He never stood up for us. He still can’t even tell us siblings a part.
A few of my elder relatives used to throw shade as us too because our family has four kids. They deemed that we were too much. Today they have brats of their own and their brats are more crazy and spoiled. Many of us don’t even want them around. The table has turned.
