Between watching The Chase and Jeopardy! (in the U.S.), I've noticed that my reaction time has gotten faster (in comparison to when I started watching on a regular basis). I think it's because I've gotten used to the hosts' paces, and I'm able to predict what's going to be asked because they finish the questions.

They pretty much won by distance, 28 are HARD to beat even for the beast, but that's how you win this show, you combine the talent of all remaining contestants in a long chain and put so much pressure on the chaser that you can go and win. Fully deserved.

Yeah it's ironic. She is a very good player and did deserve more than the £8000 she got yet if she had gone for the £35000 she would have won nothing. A good decision made in the end :)

Red thays what happens every episode it's set up for the contestants to lose and thays why it's so good when they win as it's against the odds!! The chasers dont need to buzz before answering either 👍🏻
They always throw in "lifeline" questions which they know the chaser would know. Look at the last 3/4 questions. They also throw a few in here and there at the beginning. For the chaser it's like being asked what's 2+2 ? Also Bradley does generally whiz through the question much faster for the chaser. Thing is rigged. Corrrrrrrrrect after every answer by the contestants whilst it's correct for the chasers. Never Mind. It's not so frustrating when you know others are aware also.
I like how Angela tells the answer to Neil and he says it. Its like when your mother/grandmother tells you what to do when your young to improve your confidence in situations.
Thanks for sharing this as I'd not seen it before although it's one of my favourite quiz shows. Angela was amazing but lucky they got those pushbacks coz The Beast was on fire!!!

Keep coming back to this. One of the best shows in the history of The Chase. Angela was simply amazing, but let's not forget that The Beast is really close to catching her in the individual round and almost catches the team in the final chase as well, so really a superb performance by Mark. They had a two step head start, don't forget that, and although the chaser has the advantage of not having to press the buzzer, the massive weight of being pushed back if wrong is a far more difficult position to be in.
That was fantastic all round but Bradley BLATANTLY whizzed through those questions to Mark more quickly, he could hardly get the words out he was going so fast...lol I had heard this many times but kept an open mind but there Bradley was like an Express Train. Wonderful Contest...

+Abimbola Lawal Yes he is the most modest of the Chasers. Cinnaman is too sarcastic and the Dark Destroyer is a misery. The Governess is arrogant. I like the way Bradley cracks up at some of the answer options. This show is so entertaining and educational.
+colinp2238 firstly he's sarcastic for a reason, he's given the nickname "sarcasm in a suit", and to be fair, he's also quite funny IMO. My personal favourite will always be the beast due to how much of an intellect he has. Jaysus like, he was/is an Oxford teacher for maths, he's that clever. He's also very much the cockiest out of the lot of them, as he tends to give the bigger amounts of money and gets very competitive during the final chase. The rest of them I equally like, but I will say if I had to pick a second favourite, it's Anne.

Look how fast Bradley read the Beast's questions in the final chase, then compare it to the contestants' questions in the final chase. He was doing it twice as fast for the Beast.
Maybe that’s true, maybe it’s not. However, there are several other things that are designed to give the Chaser the edge. For example, the contestants have to press their buzzer each time they give an answer in the final chase, which is then followed by their name being read out, which over the course of the 2 minutes can take up a good 10-15 seconds, compared to the Chaser who just has to answer the question.

I'm just waiting for the day when the Chaser answers every question correctly in the Final Chase but they still run out of time before they can catch the team. But in order for that to happen, it will require a very big lead like 30 steps or something.

yer the contestants get longer questions and Bradley always explains the correct answer which wastes time, he should just say wrong and move on.

Trouble is when the chaser is about 10 questions away from winning, Bradley asks the questions so much quicker

The chaser had a slight advantage because Bradley called out the questions much quicker for him. Nevertheless, it was brilliant from both sides.
I think it just appears faster because he doesn't have to wait for the buzzer or anything
