I had no idea they actually made like 4 different versions of this. Your one is the one I had as a kid. The one I have is very similar but it has different icons under pink banners at the top and bottom. I’m a little annoyed cause I spent $60 thinking it was the exact one I had as a kid :/ Anyway. I remember buying one in the checkout line at Walmart as a kid. It had my full attention for a few days, and died shortly after. This just came to mind and luckily my sister remembered the name because the new version of this is Talking Tom.
It was super needy for sure! I recently found mine and decided to play with it and quickly remembered why I was always annoyed with it!🤣 You look at it wrong or ignore it for an hour and it's dying!🤣
Love your videos. I have a question: Are some Giga Pets really more needy and demanding than others? I was reading about them, and some people were saying that the Baby T-Rex, which is the one I will likely open first, is very demanding. Don't they die if not attended to for a few hours? I love to sleep and fear my Giga Pet will die before I wake up. I'm not aware that Giga Pets have a pause function, which was one amazing thing about the Tamagotchi.
Not sure if mine is glitched or not. Could be because mine's the more updated version, but I've noticed you are wrong about the weight thing. On mine it says health and happiness are at 100 even though it weighs 12 pounds. Also, its weight will still go up by about 3 or 4 pounds every day no matter what you do. I only fed it when its food was down low and it's still gaining weight. No, I haven't been feeding it treats a lot. Its weight just keeps going up.
I was given this toy by a friend when i was in elementary school. My parents had guests over while i was at school one day and their kids went in my room and stole it.
My 7 year old self would have loved this tutorial back in the 90s. The nostalgia is glorious.

Gigas don't have any pause function. I don't think the T-Rex is anymore difficult than the other Gigas.
