Looks like a beautiful course! I’ve never run at park run, but have a few to tick off over the coming months. Starting with my local one in Durham, then aiming for a few others dotted around the north east.
Thanks Steve 😊 Let me know what the new course is like at Exeter; we were going to head there last week until I found out Cranbrook had its first event on (can also recommend that one - flat, fast but twisty). Will probably head to Parke tomorrow to save precious fuel 😅
Yeah, we did the old course a few times and it was good. I think they had trouble getting permission to use the field owned by the University so had to make other arrangements. Not a huge fan of mixed terrain courses generally - tricky to know what to put under your feet!
It’s a beaut! There’s usually a few races in the forest over the year as well. Did a Christmas one the year before last which is perfect in a pine forest on a chilly day 😊 Enjoy Reigate tomorrow 🤞 Fingers crossed it’s not called-off
Looking forward to our closest flat and fast course (Exmouth) once I’m finished with Manchester Marathon in a couple of weeks ☺️ Conkers is a fantastic name for a parkrun 😂 I hope it lives up to its name at this time of the year!

Go for it Jamie - it’s my weekly dose of sanity! Pretty decent for training too 👍
Hi Lee, really enjoyed watching this one and well filmed 👍 we are doing Exeter this weekend 🏃♂️🏃♀️

@@TheVeganRunner yes I will let you know, I did Mount Edgcumbe last week, very hilly 🥵
Yeah, we did that one a couple of weeks ago - it’s a beast! Too misty to film it though… so will have to go back 😅
Rather wet today 🌧 we found Exeter a bit boring, somebody told us the old course was better, it seems a shame they had to move it 👍

Lovely route there through the woods. I'm off to Reigate Parkrun this weekend but weather depending as it could be stormy!

Haldon Forest is a fantastic parkrun! Thanks to all the volunteers for putting on such a great event 😊
Where is everybody parkrunning this weekend?
Watermead Country Park. Their second event ☺️
@@karlwatto Just had a look 👀 Lovely looking route past lakes/ponds - another one added to the list 😊 Hope you have a good run ☺️
@@TheVeganRunner Thanks. Went to the inaugural event last week. Flat, fast and mostly tarmac. My parkrun of habit though is Conkers.

@@TheVeganRunner Sure does ☺️
