Imagine being a normal person in hyrule during this. Link and the princess go underneath the castle, suddenly it flies into the air and random crap starts falling to the ground, all while link and zelda are still missing. Then suddenly, two giant goddamn dragons start fighting in the air and then link and the princess are back like nothing ever happened.
Watching Link and Zelda is probably like watching a cat, zipping in and out of town and reality as we know it.
Groose in Skyward Sword says something similar, that Link is constantly in and out of time.
Only children and a rare few people can actually see the dragons. For everyone else all the dragons flying around are invisible
Well then they just see link just floating midair diving down to swing his sword
And don't forget about the massive nuke on middle Hyrule
I might be one of the few who knew Demon Dragon would still be easy, because
A) I knew the dragons were soft, so you don’t take fall damage
B) I actually tested for myself what would happen if I dived all the way to the bottom, and learned the game gives you a cutscene to get back on the Light Dragon.
Just want to say thanks for making vids which are kid-friendly. It’s hard to find actually entertaining content for my kids which is free of cursing or adult references.

Problem with that is, you gotta land. Rocket shield sends you up high enough that you just might die coming down.

lmfao the dragon part had me dying, didn't realize there's a whole cutscene if you manage to completely fall off and not get caught normally by Zelda
I ran into that one, because I intentionally tried to avoid Zelda to see if I could splat on the ground
In retrospect this was a bad idea because if it let me kill myself I'd probably have needed to fight the first 3 phases again
a few days ago i wanted to see this challenge then soapy comes and delivers. respect
The bird set with faster skydiving upgraded twice has impact proof bonus, which makes you take no fall damage
if getting the paraglider isnt going straight to ganon, then getting the skydiving set and doing two stable trotter quests to get the fountains open and THEN getting the materials to upgrade them is DEFINITELY not going straight to ganon 👍

i found a fall damage cancel that involves the shield, it works in both games
If you grab onto something during the fall to the fight with the demon kings, army unload it is, but let’s just skip the entire fight and go straight to Gannondorf place to cut scene
Something else you could have done was go in the sanctum, light up those two torches and grab the champions leathers for extra defense, even though it might not matter💀

@@CarlosMendez-tn5zi idk, it feels far too easy and like it’s exploiting the physics system. I say it’s an exploit because the developers intended for us to build our own unique contraptions and mess around with different stuff. I played the game blind until I beat it, and when I heard about this super OP and efficient build I figured I had more fun coming up with my own not so efficient wonky designs.

Very nicely done. However, there is a final almost impossible challenge. Skip other missions, no paraglider, NO STAMINA. That is the most epic win possible. Pure Engineering

Is it possible to not only skip the paraglider, but skip the ENTIRE surface? Don’t even land on the surface and trigger the “Hyrule Kingdom” landmark. Just dive into the Hyrule Castle Chasm.

use a steering stick to negate fall damage just fall while being on the steering stick and u will not get fall damage
If you go too fast it boots you off though
ultra hand log, climb on, fall down. ur good.
also that final dive, u can survive it if u just fall right on the red battle area. i purposely didnt use my paraglider joking around, and the cutscene triggers before i took fall dmg.

I did this too, but I went STRAIGHT to Ganondorf. No detours, no prep, no glitches, no paraglider. I liked the differences in our Colgera method.
You could have gotten fairies to take the fall damage,you might have to take the pain of all of your bones being shattered all at once but the fairy will save you.
Says going straight to Gannon Dorf gets a bunch of stuff before killing Ganon Dorf. Once you get straight off of the island go straight to Gannon Dorf, then I’ll be impressed.

bro I’ve done it without the paraglider I didn’t go so far I just got my weapons on the way there. All I did was get off the grade Skyland didn’t get the paraglider and I got stuff straight to Gannon Dorf on the way down to the depths of the fight.

If you got Zonai devices for flying high you can hit Colgera by flying with machines, jumping off and bullet-time then fusing Keese wings to arrows to get extra distance. For 2nd phase you are in the air already and can bullet-time. In order to survive falling, fall off the edge of the arena which only takes 1 heart.

I'm actually partway through my own paragliderless run.
…or more accurately, a "mess with the NPCs" run - and I decided the best way to mess with Purah was if the first she knew that I'd made it out of the castle was when I rocked up having beaten all the shrines (unfortunately, a couple of them will probably require me learning how to do a glitch), and 4 of the sages (unfortunately the fifth one refuses to unlock if I haven't gotten the paraglider).
So far, I've cleared 81 shrines, beaten Queen Gibdo, beaten several Marbled Gohmas (one in the dungeon, two roaming wild in the depths), collected and double upgraded the glide set, and now I'm clearing out the pirates in Lurelin Village.
…oh, and I don't like teleporting, so I haven't. (I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue that restriction when trying to get out of the whirlpool just off Hylia Bridge - last I checked, you can't ascend out without going back in the whirlpool)
I'm doing a social anxiety, and by extension, paragliderless run. It is pain. No villages and no intentionally starting diologue with any npcs. Not sure if it's possible tbh
@@user-burner All you _need_ is to get down to the end area with enough weaponry, and you can get down there with a control stick on a rock (if you're controlling a contraption, you don't take fall damage, but a control stick without anything attached will kick you off if you start falling too far), so I don't see any reason why you can't win without intentionally starting dialogue.

I climbed all the way down the hole for an hour and a half (I kept falling and dying) in Hyrule Castle without zonaite or anything after playing the game for 5 hours. Then I killed a like like and got a purple shield. Then I fought the lynels for 4 hours without getting hit and breaking all my weapons and using my bomb arrows.

16:03 If you do end up dying to the demon dragon fight, you actually don't have to refight ganondorf, and you'll just restart the demon dragon fight right away.
