The thing that most hardcore fans hate about lords of shadows most is the story. I agree that its very similar to god of war but they have been experimenting with that 3d style since n64, the ps2 games resemble lords of shadow much better and were before god of wars success.
Charles Ray Compared to LoS, Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness are more true to the real castlevania. The first LoS was amazing but had so much more potential as far as storyline concerns. It also felt like a hybrid between GOW and devil may cry. The other LoS were just sinful against the original storyline.
You're playing like a pro. You have technique AND emotion as you play. And the most important statement I read from your comments. "I generally don't care about genres...a good song is a good song." Great version from a GREAT GAME! I still have my PSX, CSofN and I still play it. About once a year I get an itch, wipe my memory card and play it through 2-3 times. Only game I have ever played that much. And I can not get enough of it. The music, the awesome Alucard, great game play...yeah, that was a classic.
People complaining about you rushing, but honestly IMO, in the piano-only version this is the way it sounds best. Playing it a little faster and with such emphasys on some parts brings out the essence of this piece. I much prefer this than the new version you posted. I hope this video stays up.

And whilst I, myself, am rather humbled by his proficiency with these keys, I contain myself and show nothing but respect for his musical aptitude.
