I miss when TWW wasn't just about killing people, it never was about killing people for me. It only became like that for me after Auction where pretty much the whole point of the update was adding new very good guns for people to kill eachother with. I miss the times where I was just being a cowboy, back when people didn't dress up in neon colors & allat. TWW for me is about ground breaking tech unlike any other Roblox game, name another game on Roblox where you have a really solid, fun & unique PvP system, play instruments, go hunting, go mining, go bounty hunting, trade, and much much more, TWW has something for everyone and I like it because it has alot of features and doesn't focus on just one like most games do on Roblox. And on the topic of the changes of PvP, I think their good as new players would be really turned away by someone who wiped them out within 2 seconds with just a Lynx & a Navy, and the major QS patch in 2022 was good in my eyes but could still use a little tweaking. But yeah for all those players still playing & holding on to hope for the update the devs care about us, just have some faith and I'm sure the update will be out sooner then TTOUFIQ gets 100M! (Still waiting on that...)

Paterson navy highest serials cost 700k now. It’s just sick. Proto and land cost “75k MAX” which pst is 10x more expensive. Literally 700k is 10x of 70k. The game has gotten worse AND WHO DECIDES THE PRICES? It’s not even demand it’s just some random ahh bronze kid in his mothers basement changing up prices in the values server every 2 days.

It was 2021 Halloween, I had bought the game a couple months before it was FTP and played it for a little while but didn't really understand it. Then during 2020 Christmas I tried again but I never beat the boss but I still have my old ticket to fight him. I quit for a bit but my friends asked me to join them during the 2021 Halloween event to fight the NEW Wendigo boss. Keep in mind we weren't the best PVPers. That was some of the most fun I ever had on a game. Watching it fling my friends into the air while they screamed and I was cackling in my chair. Maybe I grew up and realized how grind based the game is and didn't want to waste my valuable time on auction weapons or anything like that. I started trading for all the old event items, just because I was fond on them. I can't really put into words my thoughts on the game right now, it's a game full of toxic sweats and scammers and not at all a welcoming environment. It is like that moment when Fortnite lost all the noobs you would see during it's prime and it was all just sweats. I hope progression can fix it but who knows at this point... (Sorry for my essay)

What I loved was the people roleplaying in the bar, and how combat was rare which made it realistic and cool. Auction guns tipped it over as it ruined the aspect of “I’m here for fun” and changed it to “I’m here for guns”

I never really missed old combat features. In my eyes, the wild west never was about pvp. It had stunning graphics, amazing ambience and many stories untold. You could go on an adventure to see new things! Or just camp out in the forest. Maybe hunt in the plains or just simply get a drink in the bar. Now days everything has changed. Even if you really wanted to, you can't do the simplest things like getting a drink in the bar, because everyone just kills. The most likely assumption for killing random people is because either people think they are really skilled and want to try out their weapons and skill on some innocent unarmed player or people will just kill because they think it is funny or fun. However there was actually a time where people killed for reason. If someone was threatening you, then sure you can defend yourself, but it doesn't mean you need to kill them. If everybody goes around killing threats, no fun can be made. There used to be a time where you could just point a gun at some bronze city kid and they would actually feel threatened and would listen to you as if it were a hostage situation. Now however, you can't make any hostage situations or get a drink at the bar without getting killed.
westbound aint that bad, i started playing it recently bc tww is getting boring and its actually kinda fun with other people mainly bc the playerbase is ipad kids and the pvp feels like im squishing ants
I miss when i used to play daily just to grind for a paterson. My favorite route was the Peak,Cave, and Near forest Ores. I miss the old TWW but ik things need to move on

I started grinding for a pat last 3 months but i stopped at 234k because grinding was becoming way too time consuming and anyways the pat is just a side arm version of the lynx with 2 more bullets. I started watching tww videos in 2019 and 2020 but i couldn't play because i only had a phone, but in Christmas 2023 i realized tww had console support so i played it for the first time
I think the PvP is just fine. It's not about the game mechanics, the game is wonderfully well made. There are just so many things you can do: rob, play instruments, take forts, go bounty hunting, go hunting, go mining, explore, treasure hunting, and more. It's just the community that made it boring. Everyone used to be really into roleplay, which I think makes the game fun. You could roleplay as a music band traveling the country side, or a group of hunters, or a group of outlaws living life on the edge, and roleplaying really made it feel like you were a really cool cowboy. Now, all the players are toxic, no one roleplays, and everyone either just stays in the city as a bronze kid or is grinding for auction guns. For me, I don't think the auction guns are bad, I just hope they massively change the way you make money. Right now, all the mundane things (mining, hunting) make the most money. But what if all of the robberies really increased their payoff (like 5000 per robbery) and bounty was also a lot higher (like 1k minimum per outlaw). Then people would be much more motivated to go out and rob or go out and catch robbers. I also think the game should completely get rid of losing money when captured/killed as an outlaw and losing money when robbed by an outlaw. It incentivizes people to be outlaws without having to worry about the fear of losing money, and makes the community more friendly to beginners because when they get robbed, they don't lose all their new hard earned money. Everyone's talking about the new guns coming with the update, but I really don't care much about that. I hope they add new things around the map, like new robberies, I thought it would be really cool to have stagecoaches that go around the map (driven by NPCs) and you could rob them like in rdr2. I also think they should completely get rid of permanent protection in cities, so people feel like they have nothing to lose if they leave bronze to go explore.
I loved the egg hunt event. I just joined because I figured I'd try and get the egg, and was instantly hit with this sense of wonder, and the most recognizable music I'll ever hear. I don't love the egg hunt because it was special, I loved the game because it was special.
It was fun when you would rob the bank or train and they would come after you but usually with lassos some guns but they were pretty easy to avoid, now as soon as you even touch the Bronze city bank 10 people come after you and start spamming the Lancaster and Sworloze, its gotten to the point where not really anyone robs and everyone either mines or camps bronze. Combat in this game has taken a dark turn. I have witnessed countless people kill people with the "Danger" status. What most don't realize is that the "Danger" status actually just means someone shot with hostile mode on. They never hurt anyone, they just shot with hostile mode on. If you actually hit someone with hostile mode on then you are a wanted. However it isn't right to just randomly kill "Wanted" and "Danger" status because first of all, a danger never hurt anyone and secondly a wanted could have just robbed the bank, shot a horse, or lassoed someone. They never messed with you, so why go around killing them for no reason?
honestly I liked it best when the auction update come out there was just so much to do and everything was so different and finally getting the gun you wanted was the best and then go mess with your friends on ttw for a few hours? that was the best.
Ngl we all miss when auction guns came out. Especially when they started getting cheap. The pvp was awesome back then. I can't really be talking though, because I was a silly mindless little bronze kid back in that time. Even still, I joined after callahans revenge and egghunt and still haven't touched a paterson in my life. But what from I remember, the best weapons to use for like quickswitching are like guns you grab from you back, like maybe axegonne + Winchester + golden dragoon. Sure, they might be plastic trash, but it feels like your quickswitching when it was back then.
If it was a supposed to be RPG like they should have added quests much before and shouldn't have removed the quick switching bug which was a beautiful accident
2019-2021 was its prime, back when the Great Desert was not a thing, there was no meta besides the mustang, then 2020 halloween event was probably the most enjoyable event for me. 2021 Halloween and Christmas where really good, but the game fell off them. I miss 2019 Wild West during its best time ever, the Easter event.
My best event in TWW was the Christmas Event in 2020 if I remember which is the golden ticket to Santa's workshop one. That was very fun. I hope that before the game starts to really decrease in player count that they add that christmas event for the final time so I can relieve my last moments in happiness on the wild west.
Honestly, i dont miss it that much. The community climbed into a rut of toxic players in 2022 and didnt get out until 2024. Its fun because there are a lot of nicer players playing the game now
So I have a good grinding strategy. (I think) So I timed myself going to pinewood and taking all the silver and gold. (4 gold and 8 silver) and came back to bronze to sell. I timed myself multiple times and got an average of 4 minutes and 33 seconds. Doing that, if you’re fast, you can get 25 times in one hour. (I started the timer as soon as I spawned) meaning you can get 42,000$ in one hour. Please tell me if I calculated it right, or if I’m Autistic
i started by being forced by my friends to play it and i hated it until i started to like it and when we stopped playing it i played, it myself i even got spitfire from vanilla grinding no trading and then pat and almost every other gun from the auction house but no quit cuz no updates and too many sweats

Combat in this game has taken a dark turn. I have witnessed countless people kill people with the "Danger" status. What most don't realize is that the "Danger" status actually just means someone shot with hostile mode on. They never hurt anyone, they just shot with hostile mode on. If you actually hit someone with hostile mode on then you are a wanted. However it isn't right to just randomly kill "Wanted" and "Danger" status because first of all, a danger never hurt anyone and secondly a wanted could have just robbed the bank, shot a horse, or lassoed someone. They never messed with you, so why go around killing them for no reason?

honestly I liked it best when the auction update come out there was just so much to do and everything was so different and finally getting the gun you wanted was the best and then go mess with your friends on ttw for a few hours? that was the best.
Ngl we all miss when auction guns came out. Especially when they started getting cheap. The pvp was awesome back then. I can't really be talking though, because I was a silly mindless little bronze kid back in that time. Even still, I joined after callahans revenge and egghunt and still haven't touched a paterson in my life. But what from I remember, the best weapons to use for like quickswitching are like guns you grab from you back, like maybe axegonne + Winchester + golden dragoon. Sure, they might be plastic trash, but it feels like your quickswitching when it was back then.
If it was a supposed to be RPG like they should have added quests much before and shouldn't have removed the quick switching bug which was a beautiful accident
They did add quests but they removed it years ago to prepare for progression or something

2019-2021 was its prime, back when the Great Desert was not a thing, there was no meta besides the mustang, then 2020 halloween event was probably the most enjoyable event for me. 2021 Halloween and Christmas where really good, but the game fell off them. I miss 2019 Wild West during its best time ever, the Easter event.

My best event in TWW was the Christmas Event in 2020 if I remember which is the golden ticket to Santa's workshop one. That was very fun. I hope that before the game starts to really decrease in player count that they add that christmas event for the final time so I can relieve my last moments in happiness on the wild west.

How can I have my guns equipped but when it comes to my avatar it won't show the hostels or anything
So I have a good grinding strategy. (I think) So I timed myself going to pinewood and taking all the silver and gold. (4 gold and 8 silver) and came back to bronze to sell. I timed myself multiple times and got an average of 4 minutes and 33 seconds. Doing that, if you’re fast, you can get 25 times in one hour. (I started the timer as soon as I spawned) meaning you can get 42,000$ in one hour. Please tell me if I calculated it right, or if I’m Autistic

i started by being forced by my friends to play it and i hated it until i started to like it and when we stopped playing it i played, it myself i even got spitfire from vanilla grinding no trading and then pat and almost every other gun from the auction house but no quit cuz no updates and too many sweats
