A small mistake at the end there. Artemis is the name for Chapter 3 Island. Athena is for Chapter 1. Otherwise one of the better videos you guys made recently! Straight to the point, no confusing theories without anything to support them. Though Bunker Jonesy theory is busted since he got a vision from drinking banana juice. Same with Peely in Chapter 3.
Fortnite needs to realize that certain elements make the game a whole lot better. Take for example bringing the og map back. The reason that map is so highly rated by gamers is because each location was iconic and memorable. I can't even remember any locations from the last map let alone locations from any of the other maps after ch1. Another thing about the og season is that you can win with any weapon loadout. There was no specific meta. In ch3 or ch4 the entire meta was just spraying your smg and it gets repetitive and annoying. If they keep the game balanced and goofy like how it originally was then there'd be a lot more people playing it.
Personally Chapter 3 and 4 had the problem where the goofy nature of the lootpool was kind of lost.
Fortnite originally wasn't just guns and weapons. We also have the goofy stuff like Boogie Bombs, Grapplers, Smoke Bombs etc.
But Chapter 3 and 4 missed out on the goofy aspect of the lootpool

The only reason that anyone likes it is purely because of nostalgia. For everyone who started playing season 2 or later, the OG map is extremely bland and boring.
fr man the smg spray was too easy and it just doesn’t feel fun to me anymore. i don’t even feel accomplished with 15 kill win bc all i did was walk forward and spray half the time

I like the theory that Jones will mess up and create a future apocalypse in chapter 5. This would make sense since the recently revealed survey skins have a lot of apocalypse type skins. I would love a mad max inspired season/chapter
I'm guessing we are sending the rocket to the future or past either he could mess up and send the rocket to chapter 2 or he ends up sending it to the beginning thus the big bang happens
@@kool-aiddealer6268 I do think that we are going into the future just because of the Competitor’s Time Brella showing the date June 5, 2068 ( I don’t remember it exactly) but if people are right and the Chapter 5 map is the Chapter 2 map then Epic can do almost anything with the story

Artemis was Chapter 3. Which makes even more sense because Artemis and Apollo are related; both maps existed on the flipside of each other. It would be interesting if we saw Helios be a reworking of Apollo in some way.

I dont think that it is being erased do to speak but instead, like with Loki and how if something on the timeline changes, it branches into its own timeline coming off of the sacred timeline. Maybe the 'sacred timeline' is the original events that happened before the time machine and it goes in a loop but now because of the cube surviving s6, everything changes and we are now going down a branch coming off of the original timeline.

this is the case. chapter 4's map was a fractured "put together" map the paradigm molded using alternate timeline locations which explains why we have slap juice instead of slurp, kinetics ore technology that had advanced floating objects instead of just shockwave grenades, medevial castles scattered across the map etc. Chapter 4 was the introduction to alternate timelines and time itself being messed with so it makes sense this is how Chapter 4 ended. The Black Hole event first screwed everything up within the Fortnite Universe
Hopefully the storyline can continue since Chapter 4 felt like an anime filler arc
Honestly if ignoring the storyline the chapter before OG it have pretty solid start, not quite as good middle and a pretty great end

I know bringing up MIdas at this point is like beating a dead bush, but that doesn't stop me from wondering if he'll return in chapter 5 considering your theory of it being an alternate version of chapter 2. If he does return, maybe he'll try to break the loop again because at this point in the timeline it hasn't been broken yet.

i never get bored when tg5 tell the fortnite storyline.
Going back to the original map is definitely an effort to try to bring players back to the game, but I admire the Fortnite storyline creators for giving a pretty cool reason to go back to it, plus it gave me the opportunity to visit the locations I heard so much about on the internet but I couldn't experience when the game started because I didn't have a good PC or console.
These storyline/lore videos are the best thing about your channel. Great work

It would be amazing if the alternate Chapter 2 map theory ends up being what Epic is planning for Chapter 5

It would make sense because Jonesy will make a mistake and the end event make us end up in chapter 2 and that mistake will make or take us to a alternate reality of that map

This is what i call a great video storyline theory, is actually great to see this, and this idea of time traveler will be a good potential of a story line, no joke, will be enormous for the story.
It's been so long since I watched the T5G Storyline video's, I still like it(I mean it makes sense that something will change cuz of Agent Jones going back in time)
I think the question is will there be a actual live event like in chapter 1 and early chapter 2 OR will it be like the recent events where a LTM tab pops up for the event
I hope some aspects of the OG map stay into the next chapter

Yes it is Nostalgia, but that is only part of it. Simply using the pump and the Tac alone make this season better than the last 2 chapters combined! Plus, the OG map is so much more fun! Everything is just better this season. I want it to stay like this forever!
I stopped playing fortnite last Christmas because I got a new console and I was missing out on Fortnite for all that because I wasn’t able to switch accounts and watching you brings back all my memories
That sounds precisely what other people are expecting. Folks noticed that this "Chapter 1" is off, like we'd gone into an alternate version of Chapter 1 instead of the original. So it'd make sense that we alter thngs, screw up and what happens is an alternate Chapter 2 map.

Definitely feels like Chapter 5 is an Alternate Timeline version of Chapter 2! I just hope Epic brings back The Seven!! I love that Team!!

I feel like the End Event for this season will be the rocket moving throughout time, bringing things from every event in the game’s history, so things like the Device, the Mothership, the Monster, the mech, the collider, etc, and all the events happen at once.

i am really hoping we get the normal season 2 map and relive those events. My favorite season it chapter 2 season 3. I know it is unlikely but I can hope
I can't wait to see what happens next with agent Jones in the rest of the storyline going forward, and I'm really happy for chapter 5. And, more importantly, I'm so hyped for the live event.
That could also mean that Slone and the Seven may finally be working together if the theory about Jones assisting the Scientist with the rocket is true

The scientists pod thingy was never at dusty divot so we’re not in the right timeline
Slone sent us to the wrong timeline
Some aspects are gone too. That one bridge between the two mountains near paradise palms, the unbreakable ice cream truck is no longer unbreakable, and structures are gone from both fatal fields and tilted towers
Over all it is a good theory

I hope that they'll make chapter 1 like a gamemode like Zero Build so we can play on the OG map again.
It is the zero point they are after, the current zero point is dormant in the jungle. They try to send it back (with the time machine rocket) to stop reality becoming so unstable that it fractures because of the lack of the zero point binding reality together.
As someone who quitted at the end of C4 S1 this is really helpful
i don't really know if i like the idea of the entire storyline being changed because of the time machine, it just makes it feel like everything we did during chapters 2, 3 and 4 feel useless because its gonna be different anyways.
I'm hoping we get storylines we get a choice in... Like We did with Ghost and Shadow which changed what our skins looked like when we picked a team

I'm thinking what if the story resets to start a new alternate chapter 2 and Jones, who now is there from the beginning and not working with IO like his past self, can essentially start a 'new' The Seven group with the rest and become the legitimate member with the moniker, 'The Legend' like the foreshadowing from Collision event. So instead of replacing, he is the original member. It sounds crazy the more I typed it lol but just throwing some fun random thoughts.

i think that completely starting from scratch is very likely. i think its primarily because of Donald Mustard's stepping off, so completely starting from scratch is an easier option for the new director
