Mayem spring| North Goa 《2021》

The mayem natural spring situated in mayem village. This spring is very old when Portuguese ruled goa. The indo-Portuguese construction can be seen here. This spring flows throughout the year, where locals used its water for drinking and other purposes.
To reach mayem spring, one can visit mayem spring by local bus or personal vehicle. Its one the way to chorao and Calvim.
7kms from bicholim and 13kms from mapusa city.

Mayem is a unique natural beautiful place in goa. So far no ghanti no lamanis entered in this place. I hope people of mayem will not allow lamanis and ghanti. Once. They enter mayem they may change entire mayem into ghanti village. So far mayem is away from pollution. No crimes, no murders, nothing. Once the land are sell to non goans, than it's gone. You will loose your culture. Nothing will remain.

Yes you are absolutely right, migrants have captured most of the Goa's land. We have to preserve our land for our future generations.
