There could be a tiny mirror adopted from periscopes that could be flipped out to reflect light from the front enabling the phone for video chatting and perhaps a digital mirror imaging could be available to reverse the periscopic effect. Maybe the camera itself could be Bluetooth operated entirely and be able to flip to turn and face to the front.

X Jb Agree I have a z5 and loved that phone to death no matter how much I dropped it, never slowed down or broke. I have an s8 and i don't like that much. I still enjoy the almost stock android xperia has. I hate the edge screen it you tend to accidentally press stuff when watching movies and it's annoying.

The front facing camera probably needs to be inlayed in the screen rather than slide out i can see the camera slide breaking easily with dirt from pockets
phil green most Sonys are pretty good for not breaking although that camera I agree would probably snap or bend if dropped while it's out, like going back to days gone by with a plug in camera
