You can try doing your hair with straws, pencils, socks, scrunches, curlformers, and bantu knots. They are on RUclips. My twin daughters have done them all and still do because we don't use heat on our hair. You could be bald and still be beautiful

they are doing french braids where the robe substitutes one of the strands. if you can french braid, follow that method

Motolani Olaniyan I think you’re right. It is flat twist. Only thing is it worked for them because they started off with straight hair and she tried to do it using deep curly.
