Hi, everyone! Darn, I'm one day behind! I'm really working on trying to get these weekly videos up on the weekend. I'll get there :) I wanted to thank anyone that asked me questions for this Q&A, it was really fun to film! Just FYI, PART 2 with the rest of the questions I received last week will be up at the end of this week so make sure to tune in if you enjoyed this one :) Here are the questions I answered/ discussed in this video: 1. "How do you know when a therapist is right for you? Context: I've tried so many and don't really feel any breakthroughs." 2. "How do you balance work, youtube, and your personal life?" 3. "How many kids do you want in the future?" 4. "Do you wish to become an entrepreneur in the future?" 5. "Have you ever considered working in shelters?" 6. "What other fields aside from research can one apply their social work skills?" 7. "What are some careers out there that relates to social work?" 8. "What personality/ skills do you need to develop when it comes to social work?" 9. "I been getting into luxury bags, which do you recommend? I've been eyeing givenchy antigona?" 10. "I recently learned about the PhD in social work. Have you considered applying to those programs as well? Idk the main difference between a DSW and a PhD in psych but I feel like they overlap a lot." 11. "How are you coping with Covid?" 12. "Pet advice needed. If I'm going on a trip and I leave the pet with a friend, what are some important points? I don't want to be insensitive to them so some tips for leaving pets with friends would be really helpful" 13. "How to keep up with physical health when you are stuck at home?" Hope everyone's doing well, taking care of yourselves too! xo, Yeonni
This was such a great video :) I recently decided to go back to therapy (I've had a lot of really bad experiences with therapists so I gave up on it for a couple years) and the therapist I found was the first person to ever tell me that I deserved treatment, and recovery (which was really amazing to hear because no one had ever told me that before.) Love your videos and thank you for taking the time to answer all of the questions. :) -Kira
