Vikings use to attach a lantern to their saddle at night.
This is the earliest known form of saddle light navigation.

Thank you 🥰 I noticed her head poking through and figured to keep it in. She's my crafting buddy

I love your videos! Definitely followed you from TikTok!
I honestly wasn’t a fan of the background music though… was a little eerie for the mood and a bit distracting.
Your stone technique is really cool! I’ll be sure to try that one out for myself!

Thanks! I agree with the background music. I am not really sure where to source good music yet 😅

First of all great job exclamation pobut a suggestion for the vidyo, spend some more time at the end of the video showing off your work. It goes by so quick I don't get to see anything

Why would a long house have a chimney? Those only reached Europe after the First Crusade, which is post Viking Age. People need to quit assuming advanced technology.😄

I called it a chimney but its essentially just a hole in the roof but I elongated it with wood. Build was inspired by the game Valheim I was playing a lot of at the time its a viking survival game

Why would you dissect the authenticity of a craft house. It’s cool. Maybe you need to not drag her for no reason. This house is awesome.

@kayleefrye-lx5rd thank you! It wasn't meant to be 100% authentic just a fun idea for our tabletop games, I wanted to try out a thatched roof after playing Valheim

I played Valheim and they have chimneys/holes whatever for the fires. Great game. Good crafting on the houses from the game!
