The signature sony ericsson charger plug/USB is trade-named as the "pop port". Ericsson were using them on the likes of the AH618 handset around 1998 (i had one). I was given a W205 today, gladly i accepted. I still have my old W508 flip, and my old sony ericsson cedar as emergency back-ups. My favorite was the W705, that was an awesome wee fone. Sadly it crapped out altogether. Can you tell me, does this W205 have a spring in the slide to assist opening? I ask 'coz mine doesn't - although it still worx fine.
i have the opera app installed but when i get to youtube and try to watch a video(im on vodafone in nz and have 3g on this phone as well as a free 100mb a month pack for 3months) but when i get to the actual video it says unsupported media type, does this just mean i need to update my phone itself?
Got this phone like 4 hours ago. got to say im pretty impressed. i really only bought it for the music player, and boy this phone is LOUD. and when i bought it i got 2GB memory card half price for a fiver aswell :)
How much time does the battery last for you? I leave it on standby without doing anything and the battery goes to half in a day! It needs recharging every day! I bought one a week ago but I don't know if my battery is damaged or if the battery is really weak.
i've got this phone for a long time now already, and i like it still. it does take long when turning it on, but so do most of phones. with the buttons i do great, i love sms'ing and the small buttons make me even faster (and i've got big hands/fingers! still works) only thing that annoys me is the sometimes slow menu for example when looking through photos, it does take longer than "usual" to show it up.. but besides that, it's great

install its software on ur pc via a usb (which u have 2 buy separately) and a little rectangle shud come up just drag and drop ur music into the rectangle (thats what i did with my walkman mp4 player i dunno if itll work on a w205

buy one and then tell me its cool there crap the slide you have to lock in or it closes it self take atleast 20 min to load about 75 photos before you can view them the Mp3 player crashes in the middle of a song the best thing about it is proberly the cam even thats shit

I think buying the Sony Ericsson W205 is a very good election its fancy looking and it has a good software inside it , plus the price is all right.
