When Zayzed started his bosslocked series, he started by attacking the bats in the fight caves. It's a nice way to get free combat exp as you will just spawn back outside when you die. It might also be a way for you to restore your prayer points. Once you manage to clear a wave or two, you'll also start earning some tokkul
I'm fairly certain jagex made it so you can only enter the caves every few minutes now, but it might still be possible, since he's actually trying to kill things and not just leave for free tokkul
with only dead trees available he cant get beaver, so you're safe...for now edit: nvm, they count as regular trees for beaver rate, resume shaking in your boots
I do... But... It relies on other people, so if you wanna come help come join the Discord ;) If I can't gather enough people for the millions of tokkul, I will be in a bad spot lmao
this was honestly excellent. The fact that you are able to find new things that even the wiki doesn't display after all these years shows some real dedication.
Welcome to the one chunk community! Now it's time for me to tear apart your account like any good chunker does to any other chunker: - Unless you’ve set yourself a secondary training method drop rate limiter like mine and Fray's 1/16, you should have a level 58 cooking requirement to make pita bread with the drops from imps. If you did add this limiter, it would be good to explain that in your video, as lots of Xtreme One Chunk viewers are very familiar with the rules. - Most of us don't do the pillory guard random event since it takes you out of your chunks and unlocks more music tracks. Just an FYI. Good luck on your chunk journey! Looking forward to your future episodes on this series!
Hey hey Brew! Thanks for the tear apart! First, when I said check the whole rules in the description, there is a 1/16 droprate limiter in there 👀I was going to explain it a little later on when something relevant crops up to avoid a ton of confusion, as most people won't notice a 58 cooking grind missing! On the Pillory guard, I forgot where it takes you and did it now so ah well, the chunk boys said it's fine! Tear me apart more I need help 😭
@Tellacon haha I must have missed the "look in the description" part! My bad. Yeah, the pillory guard is more of a meme than an actual rule, but I just wanted to bust your chops. Happy chunking! You'll be happy you made 99 agility a starting goal! Most of us can't run anywhere 👀
It's amazing how useful those kegs are for chunklocked accounts, I use the one in barb village to afk combat training. They aggro to you in a wide area if you try to use a glass on it, and it even causes the archer to only attack you in melee range so you only take damage from one at a time. It's so cool how much of the game can be played within a such small areas. Jagex gets some hate but they make a world that feels so alive even without your influence as a player.
We all thought Rev caves was bad, I honestly have no idea how Tella is gonna get that fire cape. Verf had all of Karamja and it still took ages to do lol
@@TheTamallyVerf got the fire cape fairly quickly though, and mostly used tzhaar gear. Definitely won’t be the same without the bronze bars for knives though
hate to be a downer but probs not very far.... no prayer items (unless somehow implings all the way to magpies for p pots), no range, dont see it happening aye and smith a rune bar? yeah nah
Just in case you haven't discovered it, don't eat to full in the agility arena. Damage is based on percentage of remaining health, so it's best to stay lower.
I'm not sure how many are aware of it, but you can do a "semi-flinch" if you lure the target to the edge of their aggression range and then just step outside right after attacking them. You can have full attack speed, and not get hit (most of the time), so if you can spare a bit of food you can get like 4-5x faster flinching kills by doing it that way :)
Yep I just call it leash range flinching unsure if it has an actual name, but in my starting chunk of giants foundry, killing giants from LVL 3 with no food I've done a lot of this method, although it can be quite inconsistent without run energy at least where I am.
17:42 from the wiki’s page on the pressure pad obstacle, which was updated July 17, 2024 with the following change: “To remove an idle training method, an 8-tick delay (4.8s) has been applied to the pressure pads before the player can continue to receive experience for navigating the obstacle after two consecutive uses.”
I’m SO happy that somebody is doing a 1 chunk here! I theory crafted a bit on this subject a while ago, and while it looked really interesting, it was too grindy for me. So I’m happy I can just watch someone ELSE do it! 😅
This is what I was alluding to when I was talking about lamping hunter! It'd still require getting enough arrows for 60 range to be viable, but it's something...
The TzHaar-Hur drops a knife witch would unlock unlimited free food by dicing pineapple and also unlock fletching. Young imps also give bowstring so its technically possible for you to use range for the firecape, you can also enter firecape arena and leave to reset prayer im pretty sure.
Very excited for this series! Also, to restore your hp and prayer, you can just die at Jad and everything will be restored (including level debuff from beers). Its also a safe place to train melee + get some tokkuls in the process.
lol I’ve been talking to you on chat and had no idea this was your chunk account. I was expecting to see a new creator. This is a banger of an episode, though. I’m really looking forward to seeing more.
Not sure if somebody already commented on this, but you can enter the fight caves and then just die to refill prayer and you don't leave the chunk after.
i really enjoyed this episode 1, went back and watched your chest series (which i will admit i have heard of but getting back into it) and im very impressed. hope you can keep me as entertained as i have been
The Josh format two starting chunks is really neat and i think it should be applied in more chunkmen series, i'm looking forward to more, it's an outstanding debut!
This was an incredibly enjoyable and fascinating start to a series! Looking forward to more. Honestly it would be really cool to see you perhaps tackle this (or another) one chunk challenge in the upcoming Leagues in November with boosted exp, drops, combat relics etc. Kinda like a one chunk on steroids!
If you manage to lamp hunter enough , you'll be able to bare hand for a bowstring, and knife allowing you to make a bow for range. (P.s is the puro spawn in your chunk )
This is the goal! Puro spawn is not in my chunk, it's the one to the north of Brimhaven (1 tile off!) but I'm of the opinion that it shouldn't be a chunk task because it'll be a much more unique experience forcing myself into full obsidian + a berserker necklace rather than glory and all the normal chunk experience that comes with it, I feel keeping it chunk specific is a very big sell for the account for me. I can catch imps (like with the bowstring) but if I do end up hitting something, I will still need to do the chunk tasks, I just don't think forcing puro makes the account more fun, just the opposite infact :( I don't mind the grind itself (hence 99 agility) it's just what it offers being so similar haha
@@Tellacon fair enough I meant also as a bonus hunter xp grind, you can also use the tzhaar fight pits for tokkul, get a stream in there to allow you to win, giving lots. Can also sell uncut gems for early tokkul as you can just buy 1 later.
Some thoughts: You can get a bow by obtaining bow string from a young impling, a log from a dead tree, and knife from a baby impling (or TzHaar-Hur) You can likely recharge prayer with fight pit or fight cave. Not sure which will be quicker. (Probably fight pit long term) Keep your magic level below 51 until you get at least 40 fishing from the evil bob random to fast track lobsters as they are in a nearby chunk. (Charter ships sell the lobster pot). Good luck!
1 minute and 12 seconds into this video and I'm already wondering how the hell this is possible.. Really looking forward to the rest of the video, as I have feeling this gonna be good 😎
Love the series idea man, can't wait to see how it progresses. One thing to note that may be useful for you for a long while: you can minigame tele to the tzhaar fight pits every 20 mins. Should help drastically with banking. You can also die quickly in the fight caves to reset your prayer/hp. Happy grinding bro 💪
31:01 level 10 is the best level for lamps and other sources that scale their xp linearly with level, so 1-9 is slower but ramps up, and 11+ starts to slow down more and more
Use the floor spikes and use the detached camera plugin! It allow you just to click the middle and infinitely jump back and forth over the spikes without having to adjust your clicks
Except the ore shop is not a cause for the 85 grind? The shop never naturally stocks any ores above iron, and ironmen can't buy overstock. Unless I'm missing something here, without your own pickaxe and a rune ore rock, or a mob dropping rune ore in the chunk, I don't think you have any tasks above smelting an iron bar. Nevermind. Just looked up the inner city shop. Godspeed, madlad! Don't forget about the 67 crafting grind to cut an onyx! You can get a chisel from the tzhaar citizens at 1/16, as well as a knife at 1/16 to cut pineapple rings. And beware lamping hunter for the dreaded purp puro grind.
I didn't want to speak about it too much for now in the video, but there are 2 ore shops - when you get a fire cape, the inner city has a second shop (just saw your edit, sorry!) I can get a chisel, but there is no crafting grind unfortunately because I'd have to lamp it, so it's optional for now... Which also leaves the 73 fletching off the table, but the chunk above Brimhaven has an 87 crafting grind, so I can't escape it for too long regardless
i dont understand why these chunk accounts include pets in the unlocks, you'll LITERALLY die of old age before getting anywhere close to "finishing" the account.
Runite bar at 85 smithing because of the runite ore in the shop and it's my highest "smithing" processing, there is a chunk roll that has an anvil though... Miles away from a bank...
Idea for the inferno: Since you started with two chunks, you don’t need to complete both to roll again. If you complete the brimhaven chunk tasks, then that chunk becomes complete and you get to roll a new one, however you don’t complete the volcano chunk until you finish inferno, at which point that chunk becomes rollable. That will allow you to get some upgrades
I enjoyed the video. Great editing. I agree, saving up the ensouled heads for when you get to Lumbridge and then to the north side of Zeah would be a bit tedious, at least this early in the game.
The floor trap that stops giving agility XP after the first or 2nd jump was made that way to stop all the people that would angle their cameras to click on 1 spot to jump back and forth and not leave that 1 trap for 6 hrs straight.
It may not be the absolute best, but a way to get both combat experience and Tokkul could be afking Fight Caves. Enter, if you have 40 prayer then turn on Protect from Range as the first ranger shows up, then just let yourself auto-retaliate to fight things. No penalty for death, and you slowly earn tokkul. At the very least, it'd be good for afking while editing or focusing on other accounts!
I did try this for awhile and the lack of prayer experience alongside the gaps between the early waves really sucked compared to just monkeys, but I think it'll be quite viable later on!
How dare you start a new video series that I am going to fall in love with instantly and wait patiently for with each new video and also force me to subscribe
It's not documented on the wiki and I haven't tested it but I read that Imps can only teleport away if they're being targeted so if you click the ground after every hit you won't have to chase them to Narnia. If true, this could save you a lot of headache on the 43 prayer grind.
The good news is if you are allowing implings, you should be able to get a ranged weapon for fight caves, though ammo will probably be an issue until 60 when you can start buying it
For prayer restoration, if you can find a way to get your herblore up you can make super restores with snapdragons from the agility arena and the red spider egg spawn in the volcano next to the deadly red spiders, not sure if there are any other ways but gl!
imagine starting a new chunkman and one of the first thing you do is getting completely obliterated on beer and starting to kill random wildlife and inhabitants around you.
So, fight pits with an army of helpers for a ton of tokkul. Buy mind and air runes with the tokkul so you can safespot lesser demons and tzhaar for gear. Wind strike will hit as much as fire strike does when you level mage up, so you can train it fairly cheap. You got this.

This is so exciting! I'd seen you message a couple times in the onechunk clan chat but had no idea you were Tellacon haha. This series will be great!
i dont understand why these chunk accounts include pets in the unlocks, you'll LITERALLY die of old age before getting anywhere close to "finishing" the account.
13:10 be glad there's no anvil or you'd need to get 99 smithing to make a rune plate piece
Or does he only need to make a runite bar for a diary task?
Runite bar at 85 smithing because of the runite ore in the shop and it's my highest "smithing" processing, there is a chunk roll that has an anvil though... Miles away from a bank...
Idea for the inferno:
Since you started with two chunks, you don’t need to complete both to roll again. If you complete the brimhaven chunk tasks, then that chunk becomes complete and you get to roll a new one, however you don’t complete the volcano chunk until you finish inferno, at which point that chunk becomes rollable. That will allow you to get some upgrades
calling you CaptainChunkSparrow until you give up the eyepatch
Omg please
I was for sure that shear comment was gonna be an intro for a mandscape advert lol
Excited to follow your new series!
Interesting chunk and good commentary/editing.. gonna be a sick series!
20:42 I was dead sure you're gonna head right into Fight Caves with that iron dagger lmao
I enjoyed the video. Great editing.
I agree, saving up the ensouled heads for when you get to Lumbridge and then to the north side of Zeah would be a bit tedious, at least this early in the game.
bro this is such a good idea, at first i thought why hasn't anyone done this yet? but duh
The floor trap that stops giving agility XP after the first or 2nd jump was made that way to stop all the people that would angle their cameras to click on 1 spot to jump back and forth and not leave that 1 trap for 6 hrs straight.
But you can do this right now with the spike trap for like 30k xp/hr 👀
Love the idea of Chunkano. Def gonna watch this series!
Chunkano... Brb name changing
Excited to see this progress, subbed
It's not documented on the wiki and I haven't tested it but I read that Imps can only teleport away if they're being targeted so if you click the ground after every hit you won't have to chase them to Narnia. If true, this could save you a lot of headache on the 43 prayer grind.
Go on Tella lad
if you want to allow it, you can TECHNICALLY train range.
you have bronze bolts and can have someone drop you a phoenix crossbow
or even further into the future, knife from baby impling + logs + bow string from young implings
I'm honestly against this (same as the monkey tech) I reckon, but I am willing to lamp hunter for a bowstring to make a shortbow!
another source for a knife if you want to be risky is the tzhaar-hur
xtreme onechunkers are crazy.. but amazing content. keep it uo brother
Thanks man!
The good news is if you are allowing implings, you should be able to get a ranged weapon for fight caves, though ammo will probably be an issue until 60 when you can start buying it
phenomenal, Telle this is amazing can't wait for more
Thankyou 3
Use fight caves to train, heal and get tokkul.
For prayer restoration, if you can find a way to get your herblore up you can make super restores with snapdragons from the agility arena and the red spider egg spawn in the volcano next to the deadly red spiders, not sure if there are any other ways but gl!
Herblore is locked until Taverly unfortunately!
@@Tellacon I am a dumbass, keep forgetting that's a thing, gl either way, stoked to see where this series goes, not an easy chunk to be starting in.
imagine starting a new chunkman and one of the first thing you do is getting completely obliterated on beer and starting to kill random wildlife and inhabitants around you.
Me instantly thinking of a Manscaped ad after you said ur gonna try trimming ur beard with shears lol
So, fight pits with an army of helpers for a ton of tokkul. Buy mind and air runes with the tokkul so you can safespot lesser demons and tzhaar for gear. Wind strike will hit as much as fire strike does when you level mage up, so you can train it fairly cheap. You got this.
