Oh right.. H4. H4 mids is lusher, richer and bass is thicker too. But speed of bass is really slow, lots of decay (if u like those). Vocal also more forward than Supermix4 too. And timbre is much nicer. Butttt.. Supermix 4 has wayyyyy better texhnicalities than H4. Detail retrieval is better, stage is better, and bit more sparkle at treble too (but not harsh to me)
I think it's a matter of preference. Granted I don't have the Supermix 4 but I do have the EM10 and the Hype 4. After a good while, I can finally conclude with confidence that it's totally a matter of preference and/or usage, meaning if you prefer bright go with EM10, or if you want bass then the Hype 4. Both sound outstanding with deep soundstage and detailed, but also depends if you use one or the other for a few hours or days then you'll appreciate that tuning better. So they're on the same level of quality with different tuning, either bright or bass
I had these. They are technical monsters easily justifiable at double or triple the selling price, while not shrill sounding at all. The only drawback for my personal taste is the Harmon mid-bass tuck. Could be a no-brainer for fans of Harmon tuning.
For the reason that you show your face and that you actually tried on the IEM (which most reviewers don’t) you deserve a like and a subscribe! Please keep trying them on and showing how it fits, this is a little detail that sets you apart!
I've heard some say the bass attack is too fast. Can you elaborate on why this can be bad? Isn't a slower bass just boomy and eats into other frequencies?
Haha.. i dont think is bad. In fact i like it this way. It will feel cleaner and bass will feel more satisfying to listen (to me). In contary, thieaudio stuff bass are mostly sloooow.
What amp/dac you are using? And also can you please try to plug these to iphone/mac directly with maybe a apple dongle and let me know if the sound quality is same or not? Beacuse I heard that due to output impedence it needs a dac/amp otherwise the sound is not that good.
Ra has more bass, smoother mids but technicalities wise, i afraid S4 might be same level with RA or even slightly better than Ra. But Ra excel in timbre, smoothness and liquidity.
Haha. I believe so. But some real BC found on Verdandi and some Empire ears are not piezo i think. Hahaha.. well.. we should crack it open and see.. hhaa
Great review as usual! Do you have Hype 4 to compare?

@@jordanng5428better stage than h4? h4 has pretty good detail and stage.
@@jordanng5428I haven't try any of Thieaudio iem before. Definitely will try to experience its slow bass to understand more

Ya.. technicalities is very hard to beat at the price.
EQ midbass , and you got perfect iem
@@fuzail3379 wowww.. good suggestion!
@@fuzail3379
Indeed. With EQ, it’s hard to beat at this price. Speedy, clean, resolving, tight, wide

Thanks for support! 😉
Nice review Jordan, Thanks!
Mine is on the way with my tanchjim origin and Juzear 61t butterfly! Right now I'm enjoying the Aful Explorer, it's pretty good.
61t oh my... Is sooooo pretty. Hope u like it. 😘
I'm excited to see how it compares with the Quintet.
This is warmer and Quintet is even more technical. Both has timbre issue. XD
Love your content❤❤ but i prefer Juzear Butterfly 61T over Simgot Suoeermix 4
That thing is beautifuuuul 😍

Yeah it's highly affected by source, I'd assume cables as well.
I never try phone though.. this is need bit of power. I was using Lotoo Paw Gold Touch. My amp sent back for warranty.
If I have to choose one CHOPIN or Supermix4
I would go S4 😉
How does it compare vs truthear nova?
Haha.. don't own one. But i tried once. The fit is a "either u will fit u or u cant fit at all" haha
I own both and prefer the SM4, better highs, 3D sound field.
Brother SM4 or MP145, which one is the better choice? Though i already have 500lm....
@@gamingxcapsule haha.. i will still take the SM4.. more comfy to wear. And sounded more to my liking. 😉
@@jordanng5428 Thanks bro ✌️
But bro is sm4 is the proper upgrade to em500lm
@@gamingxcapsule haha.. proper upgrade should be EA1000.
@@jordanng5428 then what do you prefer between sm4/aful explorer??
This is the last question 😁 Please help me out

Jordan, piezo means bone conduction 😊
