When you two kids are back in Detroit, try a corned beef or pastrami sandwich at Hygrade Deli. Old school Jewish style deli that uses Detroit’s own Sy Ginsberg meats. We take deli seriously in Detroit and I’d put our corned beef and pastrami against Katz’s or Langer’s any day. Also, at the Food Exchange on Wednesdays, a 12oz Big Baby burger is only $7.50 and it comes with corned beef on it. Right up your alley!

I can't believe you would go to Langer's of all places. That is the worst place in LA for pastrami and corned beef. You could have done better elsewhere. J/K, just messing with you. Love Langer's. Used to work in downtown LA from 1996-2007 by Pershing Square and would go to Langer's once every couple months. Took either the Redline or walk the walk because I took long lunches b/c no one at worked cared. Saw Albert Brooks at Langer's. About 2002 I was there with a friend and we saw Albert Brooks at a table near us with some guy. Not sure if it was his friend, manager, agent, actor, relative or business associate. As he and that guy walked to leave he saw us recognizing him he looked over smiled and waved. That was cool.

Did you ever wonder why they only cook it well done. I will never eat a burger in a place that is afraid to cook their meat rare, medium rare, or medium. That tells me they don't have faith in the quality of meat they are buying.

I always thought that Eggslut was overpriced at Cosmo so never went in, but you have my mouth watering with that selection, just awesome and probably worth the cash. I am a tight wad though, I usually get a $1.39 sausage and cheese McMuffin from McD - I ain't livin'
Oh, so you HAVE been to The Hat....did you have it double dipped with Swiss? That's the only way! Those burgers from Hawkins look a lot like the ones they serve at a place here in Ventura called "The Busy Bee Cafe".....it's a '50s style diner, complete with juke box controllers at every table.......they have a little bit of everything, including blue plate specials of all the dinners.
I miss my food in southern Calif moved to Arizona 18 years ago but when I go back to visit a must Chi Chi’s Pizza in Similar Valley also have one in Saugus and Northridge they only have 3 locations you guys haven’t lived until you tried that place so good!,,,😋😋😋😋😋😋😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Great Video. I hope you guys go try out EL Tepeyac Cafe. In Los Angeles . They been around for 60 years . Great burritos. Also check out The Oinkster at Eagle Rock. There have great pastrami sandwich too. The Oinkster Pastrami is highly recommend .
