- It's been such a long time since I've played as the Stegosaurus in The Isle, so I figured that it was about time to bring him back. Will this episode be entertaining, or will it be a walking simulator? Considering the fact that it involves Stegosaurus, I'm guessing it'll probably be the latter. Either way, I hope you enjoy!

i play like an actuall animal, 3 call things that come too close if they dont bite, or attack if they are bitting, the only reason why i play stego is mostly becase i get at max 15fps if i look in linear direction 💀💀, so i cant fight like most other players😞

Tbh, I love playing as a stego, because I can finally play friendly, without getting kicked in the butt by others. As any other animal in the isle, being friendly is a death sentence, but as stego I can actually be chill and neutral and just watch other people fight each other, without risking my own life.
That's how I feel playing pt mostly because it's easy to grow and I can dip whenever I want

Same for Ptera. I love to just watch other players fight/running around while flying and being safe in the sky.😊
I do the same as well. I also look for bodyguarding/mixpacking stegos to kill, because now as a stego myself I actually stand a chance against them.
@@weallstilldie 100% not. Friendly fire is essential to make fights work. If you don't want it to happen then be more careful or tactical while fighting. Friendly fire is only an issue for those who don't know how to fight.

Always nice to hear deep thoughts from the Pesky Stego. And I agree, I feel like the avoidance of death is hardwired into every living thing specifically because if they don’t fear death, they will quickly die. As beautiful and harmonious as nature can be, it’s still a highly competitive battleground where every individual has to constantly avoid death long enough to continue the species. Those who don’t fear death typically don’t get to pass on their genes to the next generation. We fear death, and we fear the dark because we’re not naturally nocturnal (and many large predators are).

I’ll answer, as someone who isn’t religious. Why is there still good and bad? Because it feels good. Being nice to people feels good. Being a good person feels good. But more importantly, even if I die, and all that I’ve done, good or bad, doesn’t matter to me anymore, it still matters to the people I leave behind. Friends, family, and even strangers that I maybe spoke to once or twice. Me being a good person matters to them, even after I’m dead. And maybe, because I was good to them, they will live on feeling glad to have known me, and perhaps they’ll pay it forward too, by being good to others.

It can't be the individual because what if another individual dosen’t agree with their veiws than whos to decide which ones right. It cant be society because their veiws on good and evil constantly change. So who then decides what's good and what's evil if its subjective?
@The Sun Witch Thanks for telling me about these belief systems I didn't know about them. (I find philosophy stuff to be really interesting even though I don't understand all of it) However, I have to disagree tho about objective morality being impossible. We can all agree that certain things are evil no matter the situation. For example, we can all agree that things like slavery and child abuse are wrong no matter what experiences the person doing these horrible things might have had. Also, another thing you keep mentioning is morality and not disrupting society however what about immoral actions that don't technically disrupt society. For example, throughout history, women have almost always been treated as lesser than men. However, this way of living which we view as immoral today has gone on throughout society's history without disrupting it or its progress. So since that belief about women doesn't disrupt society as a whole would it then not be immoral?

However he would only torture and kill animals who were invasive species to the region he lived in. So in a way he is benefitting society and the environment. So by your veiw how could you say he is wrong?

So if morality subjective what makes the majority right and that minority wrong? I'm gonna guess you'll say those actions disrupt society. However why should the people doing horrible things care if their actions disrupt society? I'm guessing disruptting society is your subjective veiw so if others don't follow that veiw how can you claim their wrong.
this is the first video of you channel that I'm watching. I've been swimming the massive catalog of isle RUclips videos, looking for someone who makes content that just suits me. And if course there's alot of good people who make great videos. But this is the first one that I genuinely enjoyed watching all the way through without skipping at all. 13:54: its not because its important to keep the species going, it just happens that those that arent afraid of death usually die sooner. much like how the strong outcompetes the weak throughout evolution, those that die more often get outcompeted by those who are affraid of death. its an interesting dynamic because on one hand, the daring propell the species forward in many ways but on the other hand, darwin awards.

your comment at the end about understanding why people like the big slow chill dinos brings me back to the days of progression in this game. used to go anky and just walk around watching people. if anyone tried me i would just put my head to a wall or a tree or something and continue to look at them until they got bored or decided i was not worth killing. unfortunately thats not even possible anymore, but gives me hope for evrima anky being extra chill. then just maybe ill get to dodge massive predators or even a hypo rex again with bush cover.

We fear death because it is unknown. It the same as diving inside a dark trench compared to a bright one. We aren’t scared of what we know we are scared of what we don’t know, and we don’t know what happens after death.
I have an unhealthy addiction to watching a funny haha goofy blue carno rant about random shit and complain about a cola ad (if anybody remembers that one), I'd never have it any other way.
Now usually I would just skip through a video if nothing is interesting but you got my interest and I listened truly spoken pesky.

I think that stego's diet is pretty perfect. The idea is to make animals have to exist in a wider range of locations, then have some of them collide or intersect, and having this area of existence be kinda in the shape of a straight line is fine, as you dont want it to be too tedious to plan a feeding route

When and if you play Path of Titans again I recommend you play on Primodial Tyrants 1 and 2 (more so 1 since imo the map it has is way better than panjura) both have passive growth and 2 has boosted marks and growth iirc because Panjura? 1 is having a growth event rn so that's cool
Main reason I'd recommend it though is because they make modded dinos that I feel have better quality than official in most cases! Not sure which other servers have em though since I've only ever played on pt1 el oh el. My current fav is dilo which is animal tbh. Insane video as always (sorry if reading this is painful I'm writing this on mobile)

Thank you for making that point about mixpacking. Sometimes as stegos the little ones just want to survive and follow a stego. It's sad that many stegos these days are such asshats. I used to love playing one and just trying to help out others. Yeah I guess I'm a carebear but in life I'm just not a douche.
I’ve played stego once and landed a double kill on two carnos and felt instantly terrible.
About that philosophical question, I believe that animals do not think of death as an end, they just like our ancestors 1000 of years ago didn’t read in the news, learn in school, to them death is just the ending after pain, animals don’t think about the future they think of now, animals don’t have the next level of thinking like us humans, for better or for worse.
That other question has the answer directly to instincts, instincts is hormones reacting inside the body in order to control what the main body does, hormones drive animals to (for example) reproduce during mating seasons.
Most animals also have hormones that send out “happiness” molecules that activate so they feel happiness inside the brain when they get and take care of offspring, all of this the body has evolved to do in order to control so they reproduce and the species continue. First time mothers have no idea that there getting children there just doing it because it feels right, mothers with experience does it because it, again, feels right.
All of this is a bunch of chemistry, but I think it’s rather interesting.
