love seeing jennie and rosé being praised when it comes to dancing cause i feel like they are so under appreciated
Jennie shouldn't be praised tho, she's such a lazy dancer. Even in hylt dance practice video her laziness is quite noticable, idk if she has some problem with her stamina or has chronic fatigue, she's not giving her all.

Rosé always slays the dance practices....especially on How You Like That dance practice...its amazing knowing the fact that of all the members she was the one who started dancing late...she is more comfortable singing with a guitar on her hand...but she has come along way.

Fun fact: when Rosé became a trainee, she didn't know how to dance at all which was around 10 years ago. Look how much she has improved.

@@cheese8785 you should watch 24/365 where Rosé admits that she didn't know how to dance. Just because you a cheerleader, that does mean you can dance. You do have rhythm, athleticism, endurance and same body movements but that doesn't always translate to dancing. If you take a cheerleader to a club that never danced before, they will look very awkward.

@@cheese8785 cheerleading in Australia is NOT anything like cheer in the US. it's not really an organised sport with a coach unless you're at a really well funded school. It's usually more like an informal club thing for fun. Professional cheerleaders are gymnasts and dancers here, not ex-highschool cheer team kids.
Love hearing praises for Rosé bc she's the lead dancer and she eats everytime! she just eats it all! So it's soooo satisfying having other ppl notice it as well, especially professional dancers. Really cool! Thanks a lot 💘💘

I fully agree. When I first watched Blackpink, Rosé was the one that kept me glued to her. The way she dances, I thought she was the main dancer and I was shocked when I found out she actually is lead dancer. I couldn't stop watching her, she has this vixen attitude when she performs that keeps you there.
Rosé is literally a story teller at this point, both in her songs now in her dancing 😭

Exactly like what artists can outrightly relate with Rosé! Even if she’s not the center, she does not slack and sustains the energy and just carries through purposefully. She goes in character to the lyrics and the melody, exuding an innate vibe which she then executes tastefully. There’s a reason why she’s Rosé. And being someone who only learned the techniques and basics of dancing since trainee days… Rosé therefore is really gifted ! ❤

I love it. When Rosé goes full out with all the energy giving that "kick", everyone notices her (see How you like that dance performance). But this time around you can see she toned her dancing down. She got a lot of hate from a certain breed of people because of that HYLT performance where everybody were praising her. But even so now, she is still being recognized and appreciated. She just has that skill you know. She told us from the start that she didn't know how to dance at the beginning. But she worked hard to be this good. Music just flows within her that is why she's able to translate it whether she is singing or dancing. She is the lead dancer not the main. No one claimed that position. And thank you for appreciating her.

I find fascinating that usually when dancers, choreographers that don't know Blackpink, praise Rose a lot, that's shows she is the best performer of Blackpink, you cannot just take your eyes off of her on dance practices and live performances. Before you come a throw sh*it at me, I am not saying she is a better dancer than Lisa, she will always be the main dancer.

It's good to get a dancer's perspective. But there is always the need to watch these choreos bearing in mind they have to sing as well as dance. The breathing and muscle space of dancing and singing are completely different. I'm glad you picked up on Rosie's style.
I think her point is if the boys can go hard she’d like to see the girls go harder too since the boys also have to sing.

@@kitty4lifesk150 That is one of the unique things about BlackPink is that they have no defined leader. Unofficially it is Jisoo and Jennie being the two oldest .... but as Jisoo herself says. It is the one with the skills in that particular area who will make the decisions for the group as a whole. But, I would imagine they all have input into all aspects sure one will ultimately make the decision but they all will input into final decision. And yes I agree Rosė is a wonderful dancer
@@nzcyclone no bro, in Kpop, main is the most skilled and lead is the second. Just because someone is always rapping that doesn't mean that the idol is the main. Example of these are Lisa and Dahyun.
Parris Goebel actually do work with YG entertainment for like almost a decade now she has been seen and choreographed a lot of big bang and 2NE1 work’s back then ( she is even on their stages for many award shows) so I’m pretty sure that’s why they chose her choreo to be an introduction to them as it was during the high peak when she was working with big bang that this got out.
Pretty sure the rest of their choreos aren’t from her though as her choreos are more technical/ sensual and boyish than what blackpink produces so I believe it s a YG choreographer working with them. And sometimes 1 million dancers.

preferences are preferences, dance is subjective. Of course you know when someone is a great dancer or not, but the effects of someone’s dancing vary from one person to another. People aren’t always "biased"
I think a really good one for her to react to would be Don’t Know What to Do by Blackpink it’s more slow downed by the lines and dance moves are so clean, would love her take on that, also Rose draws a lot of attention on the Kill this Love dance performance as well :)
The Royal Family worked with their company before so no surprise if they are the one who mentored them when they were still trainees. And there’s actually dances from their own songs which are choreographed by a member from Royal Family.
