A follow-up to my thoughts, I don’t think it’s impossible for Miquella to send some essence of himself or project himself. We know Margit and Mohg can both have projects of themselves separate from their body, so I think it’s really possible for Miquella to project his secret Identity, St. Trina to us to help guide us to and through the Land of Shadow.
So would the idea be this is Melina more grown up now? Or maybe much like Marika she’s two people in one and this deeper voiced girl is the true queen, her dress is also weirdly white / greyish
I've assumed that the person in the cape owns the first voice we hear in the trailer (male one) and the one you talk about is Miquella's/Trina's after resting by the grace next to the cocoon (in the same fashion when we talk to Melina as she offers her help)
I could be very wrong here, but the accent is very Welsh to me. This would imply a Carian connection, given that almost every NPC in the game that is connected to the Carians/Liurnia is Welsh in accent (including rennalla, ranni, blaidd, iji, seluvis, thops, sellen etc). The Carian connection is particularly interesting given their direct relations to Miquella (Loretta, Carian culture and swords are repurposed into Miquella’s faction, Radagon being the father, ranni presumably is part of Miquella’s plans etc), it is also very interesting considering that they may govern territory in the Land of Shadow as evidenced by the Trailer. It would also possibly explain the ornate design on the armour piece shown in the opening of the trailer. Another theory is that people think the ‘Knight-figure’ that is resting in front of the Miquella rune, in the trailer, could be the same person in Mohgs arena. Although, this theory doesn’t particularly disprove any of my above theories regarding the Carian connection. It wont be miquella, with the reasons you’ve stated, but also that I don’t really see them placing two different NPCs in Mohgs arena before you enter the Shadowlands. So I’m betting on some Carian-related character who will perhaps be the DLCs version of Anri of Astora who will introduce us to the Shadowlands. I don’t see miquella as a character wearing such heavy clothing such as the cape and boots shown by the character. It is implied by Miyazaki that we won’t meet miquella until very later on, because of how he connects Miquella’s footsteps directly to Marika’s Grace, and we never meet Marika until very later on (kinda) TL;DR - I think the character is related to the Carians lol
When Melina burns Erdtree and she reaches towards player, you can get a glimpse of her cloak with engravings on it. Looks very similar to the cloaks engravings of character standing in front Miquela’s arm in beginning of dlc.
I think it might be St. Trina as a separate entity from Miquella (but still a part of him), much the same way that Radagon and Marika are the same but also distinct and able to be in two places at once--such as seen in the final boss fight. The main game has a strong theme of dual identities throughout, and Souls' DLCs tend to reinforce the themes of the main game. I think the feminine voice could be the female personality of St. Trina leading you to the male personality of Miquella in the Land of Shadow. Also the robe looks like a pale purple, which aligns with St. Trina's color, but it's tough to tell accurately because of the lighting in that shot.
I think the voice at the end trailer is Miquella. It does say Miquella beckons us to the Realm of Shadow. The end dialogue does infer something of that nature. Plus, if Miquella will be our guide, it makes sense for him to speak to us at Mohgywn Palace first before we venture to the Land of Shadow.
The design on the cloak rings a bell but I can't quite place it. It's reminiscient of the winding vines of the great tree that we see all over ancient stonework, especially in Farum Azula. We also see many statues of cloaked figures holding swords or bestowing blessings from urns along with great tree imagery, and also the Chapel of Anticipation and Church of Vows both have unique statues. For now, they must remain Elden Jane.

What if they just repurposed Rico , the only cut npc which has a quest about finding miquella / saint trina , if i remember correctly the end of his quest is at mohgwyn palace where the cocoon is . It would make sense if they add him ( or maybe her as the voice acting implies ) in a patch prior to the release of the dlc to build anticipation

This person likely has some ability that lets us access the Realm of Shadow and is tied to Radahn in some way, which is why we have to kill Radahn to access the DLC.
The new camera is pretty crisp, but the color values are a little off. Too much bloom, and you're very pink with it. I think that voice is Miquella trying to compel us to join him in the Shadowlands.
@LoreHunter Of course; I watch every elden wait vid and I noticed the change right away. The quality is really good but your blues and red really pop and the shadows are extra dark. And I think it would be more accurate to say I think the voice is an aspect of Miquella (like if St Trina appears at a Grace like Ranni did in Elleh) or someone who is compelled my Miquella/Trina. If Fromsoft added Riko back in, this is when they would have him appear, and maybe he helps us and the voices there are just for the trailer's sake, and not actually in game.

With all the potential connections to Eochaid in what we've seen so far of the Realm of Shadow, and Tanith's castanets that got patched in somewhere along the way... Hmmm. Well, I bet it'll actually be an entirely new NPC who will feature in the DLC exclusively, similarly to Gael. But the voice does sound familiar - wouldn't be the first time they use a VA for multiple characters though. Also, congrats on the camera upgrade - lookin' sharp! 🫡
