!NOT WORKED!the thieves hijacked my recovery account and the 2FA system never warned me...called 2x the phone support at GOOGLE at 2nd the female employee was very disrespectable! also i asked for support from them but it never came or it was negative...can anyone help?

Too bad they changed that method were you can manually input another Email-Adress because I´m having the problem that I´m logged out on any device and Google sends the verification code either to my Gmail-Adress where I´m logged out or to my old phone number. I could provide enough information that I am the rightful account-owner but the 2FA is just a problem in that case.

I am not sure why, but it is not giving me the option to give an email for them to contact me. It only allows me to type in my password, click forgot password, then it asks for activation codes, which I do not have. It says try another way. I click that and it asks for me to verify the phone number on file, which I no longer have access to. It says try another way. I click that and it just says, "try again" with no further options. When I click try again, it takes me back to the original process. Help!
