@@doctordeath.5716 The wiring is very basic. Connecting the the locomotive base track to the tender base track is 1 to 1. Looking from the top you would join the first rail on the tender base to the first rail on the locomotive base, second rail to second rail and third to third. Depending on the track used, if the outside rails (commons) are not connected via the track type then just a jumper between the outside rails will do the trick. The transformer gets hooked up the same way as on a layout. Common to the out side rail and hot to center.
I just picked up some rollers a few weeks ago so this design will come in handy for me. I was just planning on having enough rollers to support the whole engine but this look like a better option.
