Love your videos, I'm just getting into the tech industry. I have been a stay at home mom and military wife for a few years and have been finishing college during this time. I start my cyber security classes towards my BS this summer. All recommendations are appreciated!
All the best with your classes! Make sure to also work on expanding your knowledge beyond your classes and build skills beyond what your classes teach you.
Really enjoyed the video. Tons of details! Can you please tell me what two textbooks you used. I seen that there are several ones on Amazon but not sure which ones to get. Thanks!
Thanks Jeffrey! It's the Get Certified Get Ahead book by Darril Gibson. Check out my How to Pass the Security+ video for it: ruclips.net/video/ZWNQCOYm9po/видео.html
Great vid bro shit I spring ha ha. I just got my internship too and just came by watching this. I got to ask, what were the cyber questions they asked you that you didn’t answer right?
I did a google IT support professional certificate. My interest is IT security. I want to get my hands on lab work, I want to practice. I have been studying online for 3months now but I need real-life practice of what I learned. Please I need to do an internship in this field, I don't mind if I get paid or not I just want to learn. I'm available for any recommended internship.
Was it hard being a cyber security analyst or no?? And I’m studying for MGIS and currently finishing up security plus certification will that be good enough to get a job entry level job as analyst ?
It wasn’t hard, it was fun. I loved it and still do. What is the MGIS? And yes a Security+ can get you an entry level analyst position if you make the right moves.
@@DayCyberwox MGIS is a computerized information-processing system designed to support the activities of company or organizational management. The degree is called managment information system and do you still work for that company ?
@@DayCyberwox I hear you, thing is I wanna be a Cyber security analyst I'm currently in college doing I.T(Systems Development) so I'm kinda confused with which path to take.
It really depends, if you want a deeper understanding of networking then go for the CCNA, but Security+ & CySA+ are more tailored for a Cybersecurity Analyst. Ultimately I still think regardless, the CCNA is definitely a great cert to get either ways.
Would you guys like more videos talking about my Cybersecurity Internship?🤔
Yes bro with pleasure
Please!! We need more people like you.
of course love your information
Yeah please

Depends on a lot of factors. I was combining it with school full time so it was a bit but my team was always very understanding.

Thanks!
What was on your resume?
Might do a video on that.
Whats your view on Cisco certificates?
I think they’re very good if you’re looking to understand networking on a deeper level. I actually plan on doing the CCNA later in the year.
