Activision forgot that call of duty is originally an arcade type game it was never supposed to be super realistic, something this game gets right.

@@XRobZilla you forget publishers control a lot because they want to make money. Not necessarily good games. Devs want to deliver a good product. Publishers want a money printer that is the bare minimum investment.
Activision makes all the good games, but old school infinity ward was good.

This game looks great. Vibrant colors and smooth movement. No incredibly loud footsteps and red dots on the minimap. On top of it all, it’s gonna be FTP. As long as there’s a good competitive scene, I’ll happily play this over infinity ward’s crap game

This game and "The Finals" are going to be great for the scene. Both F2P first person arcade shooters with something unique.

The beta has 12 maps and ranked is already in the game and this isn't even the final product
Its not a random company making the game, its Ubisoft, and they take r6 siege esports w a passion considering its one of Ubisoft’s biggest games still. I doubt they’ll let this die its just up to the community to let it live.

Aside from the net code that they said they have already fixed, this game is awesome so far.

Honestly we need somethig completely new other than COD. Its always been the game I grew up playing and I want a proper send off so something new can flourish and take over. Creat a completely new experience that will last for years just as COD did.

this game just feels off on controller
Well i played the beta and i gotta say, It truly might be the game to kill cod because it feels like old school cod in aspects of movement but gunfight and damage feels like apex it actually requires real skill to get a kill there’s no shoot first kill first bs, so campers gonna hate this game 100% if they’re horrible at aiming. There’s no sbmm. To summarize this game is the skilled cod players dream. It rewards skill instead of punishing it
I don't think anything can "kill" cod. Regardless of how shit the games are people will still buy them. But this is definitely a really good alternative to cod for sure

Am i the only one having problems with massive controller input lag on ps5? With my controller on PC i have no problems but its unplayable on ps5...
funny i played this on xbox didnt have no aim assist at all it was horrible but his aim assist seems to work fine

I don’t think it’s like Apex tbh. I hate apexes movement simply because pressing w and d or w and a at the same time slows you down which makes the game unplayable for me. Haven’t felt anything like that here

xdefiant - its in closed beta right now, but you can get a code trough watching xdefiant streams for 30mins on twitch, your ubisoft just has to be linked to your twitch
New game made by Ubisoft, they calling it the cod competitor. Old school cod feel

from what ive played its not really noticeable. play with controller and mnk. theres very little aim assist compared to cod.
