    I don't think Purdy is going to be greedy. I don't think money is what drives him.

    Am i crazy for thinking Purdy is gonna go the route of TB12 amd take less money for his second and possibly third contract to help keep the SB window open?? I feel like he is that type dude!

      Not at his age

      @Kenny49ERS I don't see why not...he is fairly chill so I don't see why he wouldn't make 18 mil a year now and then tax the team when he hits 30. Hell Steve Young didnt even win a ring before 30 so I don't see why he would be in a rush! All the rules are made to protect his position on the field and he has had historical success so far...bet on yourself along side an organization that wants nothing more then to win multiple rings! I would say that at his age he is perfectly positioned to just live comfy and win a lot of football games!

      @@biggdaddyx5 his wife probably will disagree, and definitely his agent. Brady only did that after he was paid, I think. But you never know.

      @Kenny49ERS I don't think Brady took big money from the Pats at all...his payday came in Tampa and endorsements I believe. I could be way off too but I still think Purdy will be mindful of that when making his deals!

    Please 49ers make Brock Purdy the highest paid qb in history. Please do it. I'm dying to see Kyle find bargin bin offensive linemen, and develop a drop back passing game. I'm dying to see what kind of game Kyle will call when you dont have the defense he has now to lean on. Because once you start paying Brock you cant afford to pay Kittle, Greenlaw, Ward, CMC, Deebo, Aiyuk, Warner, Bosa, and Williams. I for one am tired of debating if Brock is elite or not. I wanna see if he actually is.

    Lions situation is just a bit different. It's a team that hadn't won a playoff game since 1991. They weren't going to let Goff walk away when it feels like they are finally a relevant franchise. I'm not sure Purdy has the same kind of leverage. Purdy is also much younger and might just want more years than the biggest yearly number.

      Purdy was our first 4k passer in like 20yrs, he def has leverage.

    Those Goff numbers reported yesterday are sure to be inflated. Wait for the “fully guaranteed” numbers to come out. My guess that the Lions will be able to get out of the deal after 2 years if they wish.

    • @Dread-HeadedTexan
      @Dread-HeadedTexan 4 месяца назад +1

      He has 170 guaranteed. So even if you go off the guaranteed money that still about 42 a year.

    • @hughwilkins33
      @hughwilkins33 4 месяца назад

      @@Dread-HeadedTexan that’s not “fully guaranteed”. That number includes guaranteed for injury.
