All you people who criticize or complain against Pastor Joel or his father listen up. They have brought more people back to God and turned hearts and souls towards Jesus than any of you could do in ten thousand years. You criticize about the messages, and what is or isn't spoken. Who are you to judge? Who gave you the power and authority to judge them? There is your difference, they admit they aren't the judges. You should go and learn what is meant by "these people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me." You are the "people" Jesus speaks of. How many lives have any of you saved today, this past month, this past year? How many stadiums do you fill when you speak? How many books do you have out, or radio stations you speak on? Probably not one. To God be the Glory.
And there you are "criticiz(ing) and complain(ing) against (people who disagree with you)". We are to judge with righteous judgement for the bible has already judged them. John Osteen seems to me to be a real man of God but his son Joel seems to have been steered away from truth when he never preaches about sin when this is the main reason Jesus came to save us from. At least i have never heard Joel preach about sin.

What a man of God who could surely stir up hearts for Christ! HE IS ABLE!! John Osteen is yet another of many powerful men of God who was taken from us too soon. We need more like him in these days and at this late hour! Joel is a wonderful man, but I wish he preached with the fire of God in his heart as his dad did rather than more like a 'self help guru.' We, the children of God, need preachers like John Osteen these days, especially today as too many are losing their jobs, their homes, and some even their faith. This just isn't the time for 'soft' preaching.' NOT these days!

I highly respect the ministry of John Osteen
I love this man and his passion is tear jerking, but please don't talk like Joel isn't carrying on wonderfully in his fathers footsteps. I am moved the most by seeing and hearing Pastor John's love inside the message he brings and Joel is showing that same love just as his father did. I can see Joel's love even if he is a bit more shy than his father was, it is a testimony and a witness for people like me who grew up thinking that men have no feelings.

Pastor john osteen is powerful and shuns evil speaking of sin, repentence and conviccion, a thing that Joel never does he is even up to be part of a gay seremony thing that hes father a real man of god was very against just like the bible. people compare John to Joel Osteen and I say the it's like comparing apples to oranges. John is a shouter and very well educated. Joel introduces you to the love of Jesus and God and he does it with a quiet small voice. His calling is not the same as his father's was. his father explained once about the different types of preachers. my faith was renewed because of Joel. I was sick of fire and brimstone, you'll never make it preaching. I needed to hear the ever lasting love of God....I got that from Joel. By the way, it was his wife who said they'd attend a ceremony and he almost swollen his teeth. he's said several times homosexuality is a sin. but people read your bible. ..when the list of sins that are listed with it, lying is the same. why are people just picking that one out of 7?
God help Joel Osteen for listening to his wife and went to a homosexual ceremony I hope they've repented since then also witness those who are like that!!!
