So, you are saying maybe if our land looked as good as yours (for donkeys) then we dont have to spend a ton of money trying to find alot of first cut hay delivered? Is there ANYTHING that would look poisonous to you that would need to be pulled out? How about dandelion flowers? I ask because a young girl "this esme" mentioned she pulls out flowers etc that will get donkeys sick if they eat it. So I can get a slow feeder and let them graze in pasture all day? cool, thank you
The grass here is so bad I have to suppement mammoths of they get skinny! Most of my pasture is weeds. I've never pulled up dandelions,, in fact I offer them dried dandelions in mineral feeders. There are lots of poisnous plants here but the donkeys don't eat them,, nor do the horses.
