I really hope a lot of these cards get printed at some point in the future. I feel like Vrains had the most cases of entire archetypes just never getting printed over any of the other series
I mean, outside of Playmaker, Revolver, Soulburner, or AI, I think VRAINS characters haven't gotten much support for their archetypes in recent years. Not to mention the missing archetypes, Specter's archetype took a long time to print (and is still missing exclusive anime cards). I feel like Konami is not very comfortable with Bowman's archetype.
@@matts5164 Konami makes changes to anime cards all the time when they get printed irl. All they would need to do is make Judgment Arrows exclusive to the Armatos Legio archetype and boom, it works
The vrains series just hid diff, from the more mature and serious characters to the monsters new mechanic thats actually interesting. I just recently watched it and im astonished
Fun notes on Magnus Dux: It shares functionally the same first effect as firewall dragon (while the latter has it as a quick effect). This one also negates while firewall enables more summons, which is a fun polarizing aspect to those 2 respective ace monsters, also both being light attribute, and having the protagonist 2500 VS villain/rival 3000 gimmick.
This video just reminds me that I'm still waiting and hoping to eventually see Bowman's Hydradrives, Windy's Stormrider's and Lightning Armator Legio's printed
@@brunosanto3488 Allure Queen's are level monsters who came out in Cyberdark Impact back in 2006, the only new Allure Queen monster is the Golden Allure Queen, that card hasn't been printed
So weird to think that various VRAINS archetypes have yet to be printed at the OCG and the vast majority are from the main villains. Although good, it is an open secret that Konami regrets the Bohman archetype: he has like more than 3 versions of his archetype (Including the Haru variant)
all of these sound cool and it makes me want to see most if not all of them make it into the tcg. I'm not surprised if vrains has such a big pool of cards not printed, it's the most recent anime series.
I'm still waiting for Hydradrives, Armatos Legio, Stormriders, G Golems and Drones to get printed. I liked those archetypes in the anime. One last thing to add, Lightning did not beat Revolver in their duel. The 1 lp thing does not count as a win for Lightning cuz he did it with cheating rather then a skill or a card effect. If he did it with a skill or a card effect rather then cheating then it would have counted as a win for him
I always loved the Hydradrive archetype There’s just something about decks that revolve around attributes I love and the double attribute concept is pretty cool 😃😃 Bohman/Haru making their monsters one/two attributes and negating monsters with those attributes abilities for the opponents 😃😃
Personally, I find Stormriders to be an interesting archetype with their backrow hate playstyle. What they lack in Spell/Trap defense, they make up for with high attack and some situational but powerful effects. I’m also a player who enjoys using many different cards to the best of their abilities, so Griffore being able to set Spell/Traps from the opponents hand means I could use Gold Moon Coin to give my opponent a Spell/Trap I have for it’s effect, including cards like Dark Coffin, which can discard a card from my opponent’s hand at random. Needless to say, I really hope we get the Stormriders in the TCG someday and that they aren’t too different from their anime counterparts.

The name "Armatos Legio" is pronounced "arm-a-tose lee-jee-O". Armatos Legio Legatus Legionis is pronounced "arm-a-tose lee-jee-O leg-a-tis lee-jee-O-nis". For Armatos Legio Magnus Dux, you got the name right, aside from the archetype name. Hop that helps out with some pronunciations. :)
We got the @Ignister, Marinces (I’m pretty sure anyway), and salamangreat monsters, so I wonder if we will get cards from the other ignis’ archetypes. But of course, Ai and Aoi are main characters snd Soulburner was important since his introduction.

If Hydradrive were printed as they are in the anime.... they would be horrible, first reason that comes to mind is because you need to completely dedicate your extra deck to make it function (since you need multiple instances of the Link-1's in order to make the Link-2 and higher ones viable). Second reason being that they have no answer for Light or Dark monsters....... which, you know, consists of a LOT of really popular cards.
@Hattan AlShutaifi Oh it should be better... and it's not hard to think of ways to make it better either. Just making the Link 2 and higher ones more generic and having them target the Link 1's in the GY to copy the attributes as opposed to needing the Link1s for their summon would be a major help... both in making it easier for plays and to save on extra-deck space (as you wouldn't need multiple copies of each Link-1). Then you give them a Light and Dark Link 1 and boom, the two big issues with the deck are solved instantly. There are still more issues after that, but solving them wouldn't be hard either.
Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps is the Number One Yugioh Vrains Link Monster I want to become a actual real card for the Yugioh TCG and also Yugioh OCG in a future Upcoming Yugioh Set that's released for 2022!
As much as the Golden Allure Queen card is great, Allure Palace can be destroyed with a card effect first even if the monsters can't be targeted while on the field. Ugh, tbh, as much as I like the Allure Queen deck, the thought of Queen makes me want to vomit. She's the second most despicable villain on my list for Yugioh VRAINS, with obviously Lightning having first place.
Looking back the dub could have Naoki discovering Yusaku secret ok Yusaku will still ignoring him but in the dub he could have a line in his mind saying that he convinced frog and pigeon to give him a show in order to distract them so they could no search playmaker
It's a bit disappointing that out of all the lvl monsters too get a link boss monster they chose the Allure Queens which is strange since they're the least used lvl archetype in my opinion and the rest I've completely forgotten besides Armed Dragon, Horus, Silent Magician and Swordsman are more worthy of having a Link boss monster than the latter

@@YugiohEverything its main issue is that a working hydra deck struggles to touch light or dark. so even if it got a god hand a lot of the more viable decks would not be affected. luck wise its not that bad since the side deck can correct the needed atributes for the match up though that does limit the side deck
I personally prefer that anime cards remain exclusive to the medium that they introduced within as they rarely are adapted good or even similar to how they were in the anime just look at every oricalcos card out at this time

out of all the unprinted archetypes in VRAINS, I've always found the ones that Windy and Lighting use the most interesting ones

We really needed more duel club antics with Naoki. He was a fun character who livened up the mood.
Someone had to be the gag character and without a doubt it's Naoki.
Lesson learned from Yu-Gi-Oh: Do not trust their Openings as they deceive and end up creating false expectations (See the Yugo vs Yuri duel)

That battledrone general is just a 1to1 copy of a Lockheed SR-71.
