I’d assume the bullet is out of the gun by the time the bolt reaches the hold open. I also think barrel whip isn’t that big of a deal . Assuming it’s consistent. Mine will shoot sub moa with expensive ammo and 2.5 with Baurnal 174
@@wowufailatlife I got mine in august it’s a 2021 year dated barrel they come needing deburred round edges file down the grip thinned I stained mine the old look the trigger I mig welded it to take up the slack pull length and reset filed and polished the engagement it feels great it uses a regular Romanian ak trigger I’ve only shot a couple hundred rds. I know it’s not overgassed cuz it only ejects 6” with 174 the good bullets I don’t wanna mention but their Hornady brass that are factory made by a small company. It’s been reliable it’s mostly ak parts it’s actually a big ak I like it so much I bought 10 extra steel mags the bolt hold I believe is to help it keep cool. I like the thin barrel it’s light and doesn’t string unless your really cranking I’ve not got mine to string yet at a moderate speed It’s a much better gun than I expected it’s controversial I believe because it’s a gun ppl wanted but didn’t buy and now their 2500$ I feel happy about it. Ppl try to shoot sardine can ammo for accuracy and that’s not going to happen. Buy match grade 180grain s&b and it’ll print good
It probably doesn't make a difference to be honest. I just can't tell unless if I get a super high speed camera so it doesn't hurt to do what I did. Since this video was shot I can't easily get any really good source of ammo for this caliber so if I am to shoot it I try to handload.
It's a 2021. I bought it new and I can't really say the round count on it. If I were to bet a ballpark of what I've put through it I would like to say definitely less than 1k maybe 500 rounds. I try not to heat it up to bad either. It's only been seriously heat cycled a handful of times. I've never put corrosive ammo through it though. I think money would be better spent otherways unless if you have like a lifetime collection of mosins and svt 40's. The mags are usd $100 and the ammo isn't retail available much and if you find some it's a shiney penny or two. The scope is real quality for a 4x illuminated small thing though.

You're correct, his statement regarding the bolt hold open made no sense. That's like saying the same thing about the SR25
