Woah! I can't believe I never encountered these! I guess I beat it in too few sessions, haha. It's not too long of a game. Still, I can't believe there are still things I never knew about these games! Super cool.
Dangit, Popka! You just ruined that take! Cut, CUT! Okay, all joking aside, this Easter egg is just brilliant. Kind of makes me wish more games had similar Easter eggs on their title screens...
@@Corvus__ I can kind of see that, actually. Although he'd only really be a mischievous scamp rather than a world-destroying threat if he were a villain... Also, I didn't think to mention it in my original comment, but the other hidden title screen animation involving Lolo is kind of adorable. Really reminds me of that one scene from the Mickey Mouse shorts helmed by Paul Rudish, if you're familiar with those. ''Lolo! What happened? Are you alright?!'' ''I'm fine, Klonoa! I just... tripped on a Moo, is all.'' ''In that case, I'll trip on a Moo, too!'' ''Oh, gosh, NO! DON'T DO THAT I DON'T WANT YOU TO HURT YOURSELF-'' Sweet NOVA, do I love these characters...
@@Corvus__ No clue, but as a newer fan who got into this series through Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, I don't really question it. In fact, I've never questioned enemy names in video games to begin with. Moos may not resemble cows in the slightest, but they're still adorable little guys all the same.
@@Twinklethefox9022 No, quite a few of the facial expressions in the remakes are missing for whatever reason. Thankully there's a mod on the PC version that brings back some of them.
@@scottdreemurrthegodofcreation They aren't. A ton of stuff, especially environmental effects are just gone in the remake. Klonoa 2 is such an atmosphere-heavy game and the remake takes a hot steaming shit all over the beautiful atmosphere of the original. Ditto for Klonoa 1.

These aren't random occasions. You hold down L1 and R1 for one of them, and hold down L2 and R2 for the other.

Definitely a Popka move though. And I think he'd make for a fun villain if he weren't already a good guy!

@@Poyostar On another note, why do they call them moos? Mistranslation? I ain't having a cow over it, but why moos?

Huh I noticed they don't have any facial animation in the remakes.
It's probably because it's too bright to see it
