If you know about the organization in Mississauga through which I can contact for the IFC certification please lemme know it would b helpful for me to get this course done with some amount .
Very informative, does this course also help to generate job offer to international applicants if they clear the exam? Or is it only applicable to current residents only
Hi ! thanks for writing in. I think it's for current residents. international applicants without work permit / PR usually dont get a call (speaking from my own experience). Hope I was able to answer. tx :-)
Pls reply if possible: 1. After joining the course when will I be eligible to apply for the exam? 2. I’m from India and can I apply for Computer based test centre proctored exam in any centre in India? 3. Do I have to attend any classes or I have to do self study. Aspiring IFC candidate.
Hi Nawang, Thanks for your question. Here are the answers: a) The course is self study and self paced, you can appear for the exam within a year. b) You sure can take the exam from anywhere since its remotely protocoled and it happens in different timezones. However, when you apply they ask for an address and that address should be in Canada for all the material and physical copy of the certificate to be sent. However, you do get access to soft copy of the material. I will suggest you to also go through the link below. I am telling you from my experience. www.csi.ca/student/en_ca/courses/csi/ifc.xhtml c) I did not require any classes at all. Self study for 4-5 hours a day and answered all questions and MCQs at the end of each chapter. I got upwards of 85%. Hope that helps. :-) Do consider subscribing to the channel if you liked the video.
Hi ! thanks for writing in. I am MBA but it doesnt matter. You can take the course even with a grad if you want to make a career in banking. This course doesn't guarantee you a job however, this is a bare min requirement (read all JDs of advisor or FSR role) in retail bank. All the best. take care and stay safe :)
I have 5 years of experience in baking sector in India ... I have just moved to Canada nd I'm planning to build a career in banking sector. I wanted to ask whether the financial advisor jobs are target based or not ? Are these jobs more stressful?
Which bank in the world doesn't have a target set for account Managers? Yes they are. Mortgage rates are high now so the target is harder to achieve with fewer people buying homes and so is the case with home equity.line of credits. Look for operations based areas like credit transaction or risk management
Thank you sirji..for such a amazing information.. I am having 5+ years of experience in Retail banking in India if I get CSI certification from India...So Is it possible to get job offer from Canada or how much chances to get job offer?
Hi Prashant! thanks for writing in. Let me be frank with you, CSI certification is a bare min requirement if you want to be an advisor in a retail bank. You can check it in any bank's JD. So, doing that can give you an edge in the application but its no guarantee as you can understand. As far as applying from India is concerned, I tried a lot but didnt work for me and almost all my friends without a work permit/PR. Hope I was able to answer your question. Stay safe!
Thanks for writing in sir. Getting a job without work permit/PR is next to impossible in my experience when I tried from India... Having said that, do have a look at AIPP program. Might help you. take care and stay safe :)

Very informative, does this course also help to generate job offer to international applicants if they clear the exam? Or is it only applicable to current residents only
Hi ! thanks for writing in. I think it's for current residents. international applicants without work permit / PR usually dont get a call (speaking from my own experience). Hope I was able to answer. tx :-)
@@TurbanTripper Yes, it does help. Thanks.
Pls reply if possible:
1. After joining the course when will I be eligible to apply for the exam?
2. I’m from India and can I apply for Computer based test centre proctored exam in any centre in India?
3. Do I have to attend any classes or I have to do self study.
Aspiring IFC candidate.
Hi Nawang,
Thanks for your question. Here are the answers:
a) The course is self study and self paced, you can appear for the exam within a year.
b) You sure can take the exam from anywhere since its remotely protocoled and it happens in different timezones. However, when you apply they ask for an address and that address should be in Canada for all the material and physical copy of the certificate to be sent. However, you do get access to soft copy of the material. I will suggest you to also go through the link below. I am telling you from my experience.
www.csi.ca/student/en_ca/courses/csi/ifc.xhtml
c) I did not require any classes at all. Self study for 4-5 hours a day and answered all questions and MCQs at the end of each chapter. I got upwards of 85%.
Hope that helps. :-) Do consider subscribing to the channel if you liked the video.
@@TurbanTripper Okay, thank you bro.
@@nawang5097 You are most welcome!
Hello sir..
Your information is very helpful to us. Please give some study information like, Where to study this course?
Hello, superb narrated .pls inform what is your previous qualifications before you're joined this course pls .
Hi ! thanks for writing in. I am MBA but it doesnt matter. You can take the course even with a grad if you want to make a career in banking. This course doesn't guarantee you a job however, this is a bare min requirement (read all JDs of advisor or FSR role) in retail bank. All the best. take care and stay safe :)
Hi, could you please tell me name of the institution from where you get reimbursement for the course?
I have 5 years of experience in baking sector in India ... I have just moved to Canada nd I'm planning to build a career in banking sector. I wanted to ask whether the financial advisor jobs are target based or not ? Are these jobs more stressful?
Hi mam I am planning to move to Canada .. can you give me any Suggestion .. and one more thing I wanna ask you from which state you hails from
Which bank in the world doesn't have a target set for account Managers? Yes they are. Mortgage rates are high now so the target is harder to achieve with fewer people buying homes and so is the case with home equity.line of credits. Look for operations based areas like credit transaction or risk management
Canadian banks look for Canadian experience. Mostly people without that start at entry level and no one can tell me that's not frustrating.
What is the minimum education required for both the courses?
Stay safe!
Can you please advise a good college or institution from where I can do these courses.
Thanks
Hi, brother. I am currently studying in IT. |
Can i do these license? How viable would it be for me?
As i am from IT background?
My course that I’m currently doing is global business management if I start working in bank can I get field job there for my PR ?
I am an Indian govt banker , having 4 yrs of experience in retail banking. How can I apply for canadian bank jobs?
Thanks for writing in sir. Getting a job without work permit/PR is next to impossible in my experience when I tried from India... Having said that, do have a look at AIPP program. Might help you. take care and stay safe :)
Same bro, iam working in canara bank , and I'm planning to move to Canada in 2022 Or 2023 as they have declared that every year they will take around 4 lakh immigrants in Canada... So chances are high
@@TurbanTripper brother i m also in same bank... Lets plan out together.....
@@dungeonmaster2365 I am also working in canara bank and planning to move to Canada. Are you preparing for IELTS
@@srishtirastogi2012 not now as I think it will be better if one try to apply for PR with her wife.. Cuz it increases CRS score, so looking for suitable partner having similar mindset.
I connected with agencies that assist newcomers to Canada, and they mentioned that I need to pay upfront for their services and then provide them with a receipt for government funding reimbursement. Is this accurate?"
Some is working in banking sector for 3 years , what kind of course they can get in diploma for 2 years ? Is there any banking diploma for 2 years ? What do you recommend if he wants to pursue education or job in canada !

Can you please guide me to how to approach these community services. So that they can sponsor my csc . Is there eligibility criteria or exam that they conduct.
Do Canada also have solid sales pressure in banks jobs as we have in India just like in hdfc or icici etc. India mein banks jobs baadnam hoke hai only because of the worthless selling pressure. Do the same prevail in Canadian retail banks?
The video is very informative otherwise it is very diff to get guidance like this. I have 7 years experience of bank and came to CANADA for study of business course for 2 year. I have just completed 1st sem. I want to ask if I complete CSC/IFC course during my 2nd sem, will it give advantage to get part time job in bank along with my study? PLS REPLY, many people have this question.
hello, have you done any of these course?
