Daisy Gel Polish Manicure

Hello my nail stamping lovlies.
In this video, I do a manicure using a gel basecoat. I'm using regular Maniology stamping polish on the gel base. Many viewers ask if this can be done and yes it can! I also use a peel off basecoat. I've never had much luck with this type of basecoat. With regular polish my manicure pops off after a couple of days. Using gel peel off basecoat I got 3 days out of my manicure before it started peeling. If you like to change your manicure every couple of days , the peel off basecoat is the way to go. Personally, I'd much rather use a regular basecoat. I like my hard work to last as long as possible. I hope you like this video and thanks for watching.

Very cute! Thanks for the tip about putting top coat over gel! I can only use stamping gel polish in the tubes because the smell of the regular stamping polish is so bad. My tip would be… after stamping on nail, cure the stamper for 30 seconds and take remainder gel off with tape or lint roller. I am still new to all of this.

Those are so cute! I sometimes use gel as my base also, and it takes me forever!!! Never thought to use gel top coat on top…may have to try that!

Very pretty mani. Alli Express has a few of those BP plates, very cheap. I’ve never used gel. I change my mani too often.😂 tfs!❤

This mani is pro! I like using curable gel topcoat because of the ''dry erase board'' it turns my nails into for stamping. I also like how you accurately described it as armor for your nail. Yup! 💪

The reason I like gel stamping polish is it doesn't dry til you cure it. I am not always fast enough to pick up my design before my polish has dried. That is an advantage to me!

You want thin coats ESPECIALLY when you use dark colored gels.

I have gel stamping polishes. The ONLY advantage I can think of is it will not dry out before you can do what you need to do. The con is if you FORGET you used gel and put top coat on before you cure it. 😂🤣😅😂
