I have some ideas if you will make a second one.
So I feel like the spear and the plus looking ones need nerfed a little bit.
So for the spear looking one like can it stop after hitting like 4 of its targets?
And for the plus looking one can you make it so all of the things that come out of it unable to go through other ones? Next, I want you to add a few new towers. The bomb will shoot bombs that explode on contact with anything and do extra damage to the enemy base. The base healer will add 25 health to the base every time it gets hit so it isn't that overpowered. The shielder will add 3 just worth of extra health onto the closest tower that isn't already shielded by it.
I like how, as the battle progressed, Red cemented their control of the central lanes and Blue solidified their control of the outside lanes! Very cool pattern emergence!
Blue also set up its catalysts (the ones that sent the power in 4 directions when hit) near the end in such a way that one would activate another and cause a chain reaction!
@@Arakiven not in all 4 directions every direction exept the one from catalyst got activated (and power cant be doubled )

@@Arakiven I wonder if a perfect setup of the "catalysts" in 4 corners could infinitely trigger each other one at a time, be like a dynamo.
@@Arakiven that's really what cemented blues victory. Red didn't have an adequate amount of catalysts in the right areas.
Both sides could dish out a great deal of damage. Considering they stated roughly equal health until the end, the catalysts are what tip the balance.
I wonder what a game would look like if the placements weren't entirely random.
Like the base cannons space themselves equally. Spreadshots tried to maximize coverage. Penetration tried to hit as many cannons as possible. Repair Bay tried to be next to as many other cannons as possible. And the catalysts prioritized hitting other catalysts and to maximizing how many other cannons were hit.
Everything else could stay random.
I'm not sure if things would look exactly the same on both sides, but I'm sure a small bit of placement randomization at the beginning of the round would vastly change each side's disposition.
I really wanted to see 4 splitters in a square forming an endless cascade.

I love how whenever something new is unlocked it takes a moment to figure out what exactly it does but when you do figure it out it's always such a cool concept.
I love that about these videos. There’s always a progressive increase in complexity, and it always takes you a bit to figure out what’s going on, but it’s also never hard to figure it out

The block that splits red and blue weaponry is interesting... It shifts based on the ratio of health left, and shifts toward the lesser one.
Pretty much more effective than crisis mode..
Actually, I'm not sure whether it's the health ratio or the amount of damage taken in some recent time interval, both would work.
No, it's not only depended on hp but hp+firepower
Yeah, it's definitely a better version of Crisis Mode, but it doesn't make much difference when most of the effect is lost before it reaches that point and each turret gets hit up to three times with the splitters.
I think the thing that got me was how subtle it was! At one point I saw all the marbles going to [BAD COLOR] and I was super confused until I saw the block shift!
Crisis mode is a common occurrence in these battles, helps losing colors try and get back on their feet without just flat out getting destroyed.
build cannons and choose cannons to attack on the grid (14x14) in coordinates, decide the cannon type and attack!
attacks:
blue’s perspective:
1. bomb (shoots out a bomb that explodes upon hitting a cannon or the core)
2. shotgun (shoots out 7 ammo in a row)
3. cannon repair (shoots out a pulse that heals all cannons nearby [about a circular area with a radius of 9],except itself)
4. shield (defend yourself and your cannons from attacks)
5. piercing (pierce through multiple layers of cannons and shields until you hit your opponent’s core)
6. transmitter (transmit the signal sent by the marbles hitting the green space to the other 3 directions)
7. heal (+ 100 hp)
(The cannons 1-6 require a marble hit a green space to send a signal, once a row/column of ray hits the cannon, it fires)
damages:
1. 6 hp
2. 1 hp/ammo
5. 9 hp
The moving colour square is where you place the cannon after you select a cannon type.
For those who are confused about the white/blue selection, blue is 1x1, and selects the place to build the cannon.
If there is a blue moving square present, all the other moving squares will be generated white (let the lane attack). Else, generate a blue square.

This whole thing is cool.
I like the Grid effect that makes Marbles that don't become weapons become what shoots the weapons instead, and the block at the bottom that shifts based on HP left.
It's awesome, and actually felt like an even Battle.
I think there should be a limit on the number of how many units Piercing can pierce through. Maybe 3, 5, or 7 units

I love the gimmick of using mikan oranges on everything. It's a nice signature!
Also, I'd like a "frenzy mode" which occurs almost at the end, which consists on there being a payload of marbles being produced at a time making machines/weapons that require marbles going crazy due to the absurd amount of ammo/charge they are being fed.
3:08 Red had perfect placement of those front two repairers. Right behind the front lines, and in the middle of big clusters of turrets for maximum effect!
6:28 Ok those pipeline units that split the activation signal in all four directions is cool af.
I really like the idea for this one but I think the balancing mechanic with the triangle block in the middle is a little too harsh on the winning side, just look at 9:09. Red side gets 1 ball and blue gets 12 which pushed the advantage too far to the other side and gave blue an easy win it wasn't even close.
Balls at the bottom only build forts. The bigger factor is the amount of balls entering the green ports and triggering the guns.
Hmm... as usual, here are the mechanics...
There are a 14×14 grid in both sides. A square will be lighten to 0,5Saturation in 0,05sec (i guess) then will change to the next 1 then loops back. Marble in the 2 sides will go in lime to activate weapons in that column or row (that row or column will be lighten to 0Saturation then fade). Or they go to the end of the road to get weapon for the side they go into (the HP will determine the position of the spiltting triange), and will spawn at that 0,5Value

(15hue1value0,5saturation/195hue1value0,5saturation)Shotgun (5bullet × 1DMG)
(Tan/Lavender) Repair (repair hp to damaged cannon in a 3 tile radius)

i'm obsessed about the fact that you can technically make an infinite loop of attacks if you have 4 perfectly placed multiplicators (the ones that send the signal in three directions)
if you place 4 correctly they will send the signal in an infinite loop and any weapon on the path will become a gatling and do immense damage
I believe he put a flag asking if it has already been visited
Once you've set a solid lane of attacks as well many of those 4 way split things, there's no way to set down any turrets in their lanes of attacks

I think it would be best if it was balanced more towards needing to break the system to finally win. As in, needing to get 4 splitters into a square formation causing them to suddenly make infinite energy so every gun aligned with the other waves of the square becomes a rapid fire machine gun.

I think this system could’ve benefited from a crisis mode.
Edit: NVM figured it out. That central splitter at the bottom shifts it’s x-position based on the center point between their hp, but being affected by your opponents hp.

Neat, just not a fan of artificial re-balancing though the match, generally the side that gets it first wins in the end, in this case blue. Once they received preferential ball allotment they started to dominate two thirds of the playing field and then because of how the turrets are place it ensured that red's new turrets would always get placed in the front of overwhelming firepower so red was never going to be able to make up the difference.
