Thank you for the video. I'm so appreciative of you and others who care enough to take the time to help others by posting their 'how to' videos on youtube. Thanks again.

This is great! I hate the thought of having to replace the entire thing. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for this. Good luck with your workout goals. I'm 10 years your senior, and I'm trying to get back into shape. I lost some motivation for a while (loss of father, my own tough surgery, etc.), so you're not the only one using a MagicBullet on a daily basis. Really appreciate your video.

You make it look so easy... Well, my Magic bullet is OLD. I bought the base gear at eBay. The plastic part in the original piece broke. I saw a video somewhere - similar to yours - but it showed how to unscrew the METAL part. I just tried to do it and it was too hard to hold it while turning the metal part counterclockwise. I don't have the TESTOSTERONE to help me fix it. LOL! So much for DYI. :o)

At least you can always count on eBay if DIY is a no go. And thanks for the comment.

Brilliant - I spent five minutes wondering how to undo the base - I would never have thought of looking for that screwdriver slot. Thanks!
I now think the base shattered because the rubber on the blade was worn out in the first place...

I have the parts to replace the gear in the base but when mine broke the plastic casing with the blades broke so all I have is the brass nub to grab onto. I've tried everything to remove that brass nub but can't get it to break loose. Any ideas?

You could try wrapping each side of a pair of pliers in those rubber circles they sell for opening cans. Might give you some extra grip. Other than that, I can't suggest anything more than snagging a new blade from Ebay. Sorry I can't be of more help.

What can I do if my magic bullet smells like wire burn when I use it ???

Bummer - that is a bit past my experience. Repair shop or stop using, last thing you need is a short or a fire.
