Looking forward to more videos from you. Could you please make a video of what an ideal working pipeline should be to produce 3d models regarding textures resolution and quality, polycount etc?
Thanks, with regards to the workflow, which industry do you want to sell to? Photo realistic products and VFX - or games? Those 2 have radically different requirements. I focus on photorealistic products or VFX, i dont have the patience for the games industry workflow. :-)

What I would like to know is what lighting setup should be used to make the scene more believable, how to model with real-world scale, should focus more on traditional modeling or work on the sculpting skills, etc

hi, sorry i missed this somehow, i can't say - i have never sold characters, only environment assets so i can only comment on what i know. If i did sell characters, my gut feel is that they would do better on artstation than on CGT. (although can't hurt putting it on both!)

I am currently seriously juggling the idea of trying to do this full-time as I am unemployed at the mo or whether to try get an internship. From what I have seen so far it seems possible to make a career from this. Looking forward to part 2!

Great video, how I check cgtrader number of downloads per model
You can check the number of search results oer category, and if part of their analitics then the amout of times those keywords were searched which is a fantastic indication. Also head over to blendermarket where the most popular dls is free info

@@HubertKnoblauch3DContentOnline May I ask you question please >> how do I make model looping for presentation with the fastest way im working always on highpoly mesh and it's vray so if im making normal animation it will be a nightmare in the render time can you tell me how to do that.

This is a great video, is there a possibility to sell my model to citybuilder 3d, how do you get in there, did they approached you?
thanks you. Yes the citybuilder addon does collections of 15buildings per set. 5 small, 5 medium and 5 large. you could see if you can maybe. I did the soviet, hong kong and some other stuff there. It depends on what the need is, but currently expanding citybuilder is not the main focus, as the building arena is staring to get flooded.
