When I met a tractor I try my best to pull over if I can, when I’m behind a tractor I wait until they tell me it’s safe to pass , I have a lot of respect for farmers trying to do their jobs , people are just crazy
Nathan - That's great JD reached out to you for the programming fix. Shows how a strong social media presence can make a positive impact. On the other hand, it's sad Golden Harvest still hasn't stepped up to sponsor your channel.
If memory serves, 2012 started much like 2023. I know down here in south central Indiana, the last time we were able to make hay in May... 2012. Personally, I thought 2013 was worse.
🔥corn will be ok, I remember early 2000’s was dry for 3-4 yrs straight. She will find moisture and lil early morning due.. heat is best medicine for the corn 🌽 . When ground starts cracking then issues a coming. Talking crop insurance is lil on the nutty side boss lol🔥👊🔥🏍⚙️🔨🌽🚜positive mindset. Buffer strips
Okay, now will all corn you guys are driving over will it spring back up? Was 31 bushels to the acre worth the combine fuel? People that are watching these videos please subscribe to the channel you won’t be disappointed. You might even learn something. Keep up the great work Nathan.
How much do you think fuel costs? I don't remember exactly what the proce of corn was that fall but it was high. Say $5 a bushel x 31 = $155 per acre. Fuel cost was maybe $10. Even with depreciation and maintenance cost at say another $20 per acre it was worth harvesting.
Same thing happened to me in Kansas with the bad driver trying to pass when turning left. Enjoy the videos, keep up the great work and stay safe. 27:18
I do enjoy it Brock! Ha Ha Ha! Nathan, will you be taking us back to look for potential anhydrous damage to corn because of dry soils? Has the finger stopped throbbing? Idiots! A little cool down. Would it make a difference to apply the anhydrous at night?
Yeah we can look at the burn caused by the NH3. I've debated the applying at night thing. I'm not really sure. There would be more moisture in the air which might limit the burn on the corn leaves but wouldn't help soil conditions any.
My friend just fired up his new Rain 360 system in west central Ohio. Do you think you will start irrigating your beans soon because of the dry weather?
2012 we chopped all but 30 acres of corn just so we had some grain to chop we got 6 bu an acre off that the dry didn’t hurt as bad as 90 degree nights while the corn was pollinating
I'm 1 minutes and 20 seconds in already, our main farm is off a pretty busy highway and the amount of people that can't see beacons and turn signals, or don't care to see them, is ASTOUNDING to me
I have noticed that motorist tend to ignore turn signals on farm equipment. It may be due to all of the other flashing lights, or they are all just oblivious to their surroundings!
@BorderViewFarms I'm just a old city guy that watches your video's everyday when you post them I take a break to go watch it. Take care and God-bless you and your family. Carl
I had blinker on turning into farm in sprayer tractor A car decided to pass me We both made the decision and avoided each other He can and abused me yelling and screaming Anyway I defended myself Next min police ambulance turned up and I’m in trouble for turning my blinker on to turn
10 day forecast in SE Ohio looks like a desert forecast. Where has all the rain gone? People need to learn how to drive when slower moving vehicles like tractors and sprayers are on the road. Making a risky pass to save a few seconds is just plain stupid!
does that trailer have a BATTERY TENDER cord on it??? heck I prolly would have a couple battery tenders spiderwebbed in tween everything!! well ...... plugs commin off the WALL ON A POWER RAIL SYSTEM so ya just click the cord and pull out to machine... just image I saw in my head :) HEHEHE some world some place other than this here AND now point of timeANDspace ;) HEHE I would also have JUMPERS to with a POS/NEG PLUG and JACK setup that the jack goes straight to batteries, so you plug the WELDING LOOKIN CABLE into the jack then plug into the CHARGER/STARTER OR JUST INTO THE VEJICLE NEXT DOOR TO IT THAT DID START to JUMP START.... I don't think ANDERSON PLUGS go high enuf amps... but I can draw thje plug cuz I seeeez them in my head....
@@BorderViewFarms ummm just had a ''thought'' about ...how big of a solar panel a ''trickle charger bank system'' would take?? eh the thought included a little AWNING OVERHANG unit that goes above a door with a SUN FACING BUILDING SIDE... and a little 3x4 panel with the connectors to run into the box inside ... that would be the '''batterytender''' trickle charger BASESTATION for the WEB SYSTEM.... then the WEBS would connect into the BASESTATION and go out to the vehicles battery.... or the POWER IN JACK on that piece of equipment... eh... another sharttankidear moment i guess... lol HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!! and HELLO!!!
the THOUGHT was 5 ''battery'' and 10 ''battery'' heavydooody system *5* and *10* beeing the amount of batteries that BASESTATION can support in the WEB SYSTEM... the 5 and 10 were just PLACEHOLDER AMOUNTS... don't know how the AMPS flo from the solar system that will be used... :) but eh... LOVE JOY COMPASSION
Why don’t you video these people that pass you? Give out their make model and license plate numbers. It will get back to them. You’re the second one this week to report this.
I guess its not just an ohio thing. When I drive farm equipment I don't give cars an inch. If you give them an inch they will take a foot. We as farmers feed those dumb people without us they starve. Rant over.
It’s great Deere reached out to you on your guidance issue. Enjoy ALL of your videos, always something new to learn from you. Thanks!

Good Morning
I think its time to always have a camera running while you're on the road Nathan. Anything to help your case if something stupid happens.
Very cool John Deere is watching and delivering a possible fix.
Road traffic is nuts anymore. Been farming for 55 years.Never planned to stop. But i have had about enough of road idiots.
A sponsorship from Deere would be nice, it would put in a class with the Welkers.
Good Morning!
Are y'all gonna get the pivet goin, thanks for sharing
We don't have any pivots
Poor Brock is Speechless!
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida
Thanks very much Nathan
Wow, glad to hear Deere reached out to you.
Aww, get well soon, Brock.

88 was a bad year. I was doing 2 places. One went 55 and the other
one went 81 which I was grateful
for. We were doing rain dance at the
local lol 😆😆😆
Keep your head up. That G10L16 is probably going to love that weather🤙🏼
Farmers make excellent gamblers.
Please let it rain 🌧
Good morning nathan that trailer would have looked a whole lot better behind a new Ford pick-up lol. Carl
"Deere is sending me sumthing, and a NDA" hahaahhahhah 😆

Hopefully they send out a High Clearance sprayer for you as well 😉
Always interesting Nate!
Hoping y’all see rain in the near future.
My friend just fired up his new Rain 360 system in west central Ohio. Do you think you will start irrigating your beans soon because of the dry weather?
No but if I could get my hands on one of those I'd be running it.
2012 we chopped all but 30 acres of corn just so we had some grain to chop we got 6 bu an acre off that the dry didn’t hurt as bad as 90 degree nights while the corn was pollinating
It’s unbelievable how stupid drivers can be around farm equipment!! Praying you get rain soon. JD support is fantastic!
Sorry to say I have had several close calls on highways when turning left. Even with people following me with yellow light bars flashing.
I'm 1 minutes and 20 seconds in already, our main farm is off a pretty busy highway and the amount of people that can't see beacons and turn signals, or don't care to see them, is ASTOUNDING to me
Is the Lack of Rain hurting the beans as much? Will you start irrigation on that bean field soon?
Not as much as the corn but yes it's affecting them too.
I have noticed that motorist tend to ignore turn signals on farm equipment. It may be due to all of the other flashing lights, or they are all just oblivious to their surroundings!
That's why I try and take up the whole road
Do you have anyone there with honey bee hive on Y'all farm or near on other farms?
They are around
Nathan, can you water fields with your sprayer with different nozzles on it and drive a little slower. Carl
There's 27,154 gallons of water in an inch of rain per acre. Our 1,200 gallon sprayer tank wouldn't make a dent.
@BorderViewFarms I'm just a old city guy that watches your video's everyday when you post them I take a break to go watch it. Take care and God-bless you and your family. Carl
How are u able to sydress that fast
It's the style of applicator. The Deere 2510H uses a disk style opener much like a drill instead of a shank and knife. It allows high speed.
Beautiful wheat crop …did you no til that right into soybean stubble??…spacing?
Yes 10" rows
How much damage do you do to the crop putting nitrogen on
Very little, especially while the corn is still small. I'm am running some over turning on the ends but it should grow back.
our farm has a no stop policy if someone is stupid enough to try to fly around us mid turn keep going and if they hit us its their fault
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I had blinker on turning into farm in sprayer tractor
A car decided to pass me
We both made the decision and avoided each other
He can and abused me yelling and screaming
Anyway I defended myself
Next min police ambulance turned up and I’m in trouble for turning my blinker on to turn
In today’s world the idiots are definitely among us 😖😖

What happened to your finger?
He tried to cut it off in the previous video
Trimming an anhydrous hose and cut it

I was actually in Ohio both times
