If you watch every harry potter movie in one sitting, it will take you 19 hours so for anyone who is getting this, you should do a hp movie marathon while building it lol
That’s exactly what happened to a smaller hogwarts castle that I built when I was little, we have been making that same joke ever since xD , I’ll be getting this one soon though!
Got this set last december and honestly it’s just a spectacular set. It may not have the full castle design included, showing just the front facade, but it still looks fabulous. Definitely worth getting if you can.
@@3ve89 because they didn’t want to make it a 1500 dollar set to make the full castle, there is tons of parts of the castle it is missing but they had to make it as reasonable as possible
I can't remember Lego sets being like this when I was a kid in the 80's, like a certain specific thing, I just remember having a wooden box filled with random Lego pieces and i built whatever I could think of.
I’m not a fan on the mini minifigures, I wish they made larger versions. Firstly, there’s plenty of space. Next, the small figures are easy to lose and hard to hold. Finally, they don’t have much detail on them.
Omfg. The micro scale stuff with added LEGO/or even miniature sets for the land and water would make it so beautiful and amazing. With lit LEDs. Omfgggg. Just would be so gorgeous. This is absolutely dreamy ultimate fan stuff.
Man, being there on the stream for almost 10 hours of this makes me feel like we built part of it as well, It looks fantastic.... Can't wait for the next one!
OMG!!!! You have so many lego buildings. It would never work for me to have these buildings, because i have two little brothers and kittens at home. So i would only own a lego building in a few minutes.
Hey Bricksie, great content! Keep up the great work and congrats on completing your new Lego room! Looks great! Just wondering how you go about cleaning and dusting your Lego sets as your have so many! It would be great see a separate video about this if you have some special method that you want to share.
Hi, could you please tell me how deep/wide is this set? And to have a reference, what's the depth of your shelf? I have a shelf of 42 cm (16.54 inches) deep and I'm not sure if it will fit. Thanks!
Bit of a off topic question, I am keen to do a lego channel, I have noticed that channels on lego don't use lego in there channel name. Is there a reason for this?
Do the directions come in Spanish? Im English but my girlfriend is Spanish and loves lego and Harry Potter. I just want something we can do together as a project maybe we should go smaller project??
If you have never built a Lego set before, l suggest to start with something smaller, this is the second biggest set Lego ever released. Even though their instructions are really easy to follow, it can still be really overwhelming at first to follow through. The best bang for the buck are actually the ones that go from 250-300$ because they are not as big in size but they rarely compensate with miniature scale stuff, like for example Spider-Man's Daily Bugle set, is a set of around 3000 pieces, but very detailed which can be used both as a playset and a display set if you want to. Whereas Hogwarts Castle looks amazing as a display set, but as a playset it's actually not that great, a lot of compromises had to be made to keep it in a decent price range hence why there are so many miniature scale characters and rooms. And last you have cheaper sets like a dining hall but super detailed which can be added later to bigger sets or serve as a standalone display set. Hope this helps a little.
The best part of a Lego set is not playing with it, it's building it
Hmmmmmm maybe
Amen man amen
Building it while your back is in PAIN
@@bethrodriquez6011SO TRUE
Yessssss
If you watch every harry potter movie in one sitting, it will take you 19 hours so for anyone who is getting this, you should do a hp movie marathon while building it lol
lol I'ma do it :)
Well I have the blu ray so it’ll probably be 25 hours with the extras
Why do I find this out after completing the build.
This set is coming in the mail today so I will definitely do that!
Cool idea
If you ever drop it or anything just say its hogwarts during the end of book 7
That’s exactly what happened to a smaller hogwarts castle that I built when I was little, we have been making that same joke ever since xD
, I’ll be getting this one soon though!

I was looking for this comment. Didn’t take long to find it lol!!

“The second biggest lego set ever”
LEGO: *laughs in colosseum
*laughs in world map
My uncle may get it for my birthday, so yes I will do it- but I can't watch the 7th and 8th, I wanna finish the book first.
Got this set last december and honestly it’s just a spectacular set. It may not have the full castle design included, showing just the front facade, but it still looks fabulous. Definitely worth getting if you can.
I saw all your lives and it encouraged me to want to buy this set.
Do you know why there is no Astronomie tower
@Not Jo The great hall is a seperate Set too. And its in there
@@3ve89 because they didn’t want to make it a 1500 dollar set to make the full castle, there is tons of parts of the castle it is missing but they had to make it as reasonable as possible
To expensive
One of the best sets of all time! I think it works really well in micro scale; the details are some of the best Iv'e seen in a LEGO set!
Pronounced air lol enemy of the air...
Ngl made me giggle a little bit when he said “I can’t even wrap my hand around it” 🙊
7:51 heir is pronounced air not higher
“The hire” it’s pronounced air
Jake Macneil I don't think so
@@generalgrievous6250 No he’s right
@@adamhufnagel9721 yeah he is
You can tell someone's American when they miss pronounce the word heir.
Every time I watch your vid I get sad because I only have one mini figure
literally only one?
check out bricklink my dude
makaki yes :(
Lego brick force that’s unfortune, go to some store and buy one minifigure series 20, they’ve got great knight Viking and a pirate and they are cheap
makaki I’ll check it out
Now I wanna see a very huge detailed Hogwarts Castle. Instead of the micro/mini scaled down.
That would be 100,000 peices
I can't remember Lego sets being like this when I was a kid in the 80's, like a certain specific thing, I just remember having a wooden box filled with random Lego pieces and i built whatever I could think of.
LEGO still do that, but its just not as popular anymore, in fact I think its called LEGO classic lol
I still remember doing tower competitions with my father
That was the good time...promoting creativity...nowadays LEGO is just collection business....and they cost so much....
my lego as a kid came from my mums cousins who didnt want it anymore . i think it was just random bricks from different sets just chucked into a box,
Actually lego sets were exactly like this back then in the 80’s
“Enemies of the hire beware” 🤣🤣🤣
I love Harry Potter and I saved my money from my job at McDonald’s (my part time) for a bit and did it a lot harder and bought this beauty!
I’m getting this set as soon as it’s back I stock!
Alerady have it amazing build. Hope you enjoy!
The Daily Brick :)
@@wealbs thank you!
I would like to be able to do so aswell😂
yeah definitely worth it. Great display piece.
My castle just arrived today and I cannot wait to get into it!!!
When you turned to show the whole room, my jaw actually dropped. To say I am impressed is an understatement!
It’s pronounced air not hair lol (heir)
I really want this but I’m broke
I’m not a fan on the mini minifigures, I wish they made larger versions. Firstly, there’s plenty of space. Next, the small figures are easy to lose and hard to hold. Finally, they don’t have much detail on them.
If they made larger versions then there would be like 3 rooms so it would be kinda weird
I'm American but I will give you Points for saying 'Philosopher's Stone' :)
As it should have been from the Start lol
I have this set! It took me and my dad 4 days to build!!! 👍 😃
I'm in LOVE with the Lego Room! 😍 But one question... how do you keep all your display sets dust-free?
Also interested to know.
I’m wondering too. I keep mine including the Hogwarts castle in huge custom made acrylic box
Still waiting for this reply too lol. I imagine a great air filter/purifier and occasional dusting with a swiffer duster.
Just use a blower
@@BrOoKLyNx nah air in a can ,go around and spray it

I never built anything up to this scale and such at an advanced level but I'm loving it so far
Funny as it is I have this set now but I didn’t buy it, a customer of the business I work for gave me this a tip for the work we did lmfaoo
That’s awesome. How long did it take you to build it. Hope to get it this summer
@@bobbyc912 it took me roughly 17-18 hours doing it by myself but I did a bit of it everyday for a week
Why this man say hire for heir bruh
i’m not much of a lego person but i do really want this! was it hard to move after it was built?
I have it and the individual sections are well structured and easy to move
Its clear he's never read Harry Potter
question, how do you keep the dust of all there sets? do you just clean everything?
37 BAGS!!! The most I have ever done is 12. Dang I really want it. Imagine this but on a mini figure scale instead of micro figure scale!
"enemies of the higher beware"
i would love a $2000 minifigure scale hogwarts
It would take a lot more than that
@@Rounderyathecruel But Lego Probaly Wouldn’t Sell A Set For Over 2k
Lol he pronounced heir “hire”
Is there a Slytherin common room?
How easy is it to move? I can't decide if I want to build this set now or wait a couple years until I move into a bigger house.
Buy it before it retires but build it later

I would love to get this and build it, but I’d have no room to display it😢
Should I get this set or all the other ones separately?
I’m considering the other sets combined but this one just looks much better as a display piece.
Man, being there on the stream for almost 10 hours of this makes me feel like we built part of it as well, It looks fantastic.... Can't wait for the next one!
Its 23th and im only waiting cause i have this set waiting under christmastree

It looks like the Bojnice castle in Slovakia!
Can you build a small micro city
Thats a big set!
its good but i don t like that all back of the castle is just hole
Wow!
I’m not aloud to have it :(
Love this review haha but you can totally tell you’re not a big Potter fan “and there’s a broom I think?”
I think they fly around on mops or something
Bricksie also sometimes on vacuums
Have you considered purchasing the extended moc for this?
Would go dummy hard
How will you get that thing on the self
I would absolutely love this being a big Harry potter fan I am but I've got zero room to put it anywhere :(
Why is it so important to say 5 or 6 separate times that you don't buy sets like these for the microscale scenes? Relax. Just show us your set.
Enemies of the hire? 😅😅 whoops haha

I’m looking to get this Lego set but got no where to display it, I saw your shelf’s In the video and just wondering where you got them from?
Amazing Lego display you’ve got there. How do you deal with the dust menace ?
I have this set and I received duplicate bags #30 and no bag #31 😢
There is one section is missing. Where the students of Hogwarts do their classes in Plants.
Enemies of the higher beware 😂😂
What’s cool about LEGO, it’s an investment - so there’s literally 10’s of thousands of potential dollars sitting in this room
can I fit the regular Lego figures inside???????
after seeing that harry potter castle lego tour in the lego facility, this set looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff.
They sells sarumans tower? I thought only the eye of Sauron was sold. That’s awesome if so.
Awesome set! Bricksie is better than Jangbricks!
Its $500 like wtf
Awesome 👌
What shelf is that? I need somewhere to put my castle on but I can’t find a decent sized shelf.
Looks cool
I need this set!! Lego needs to restock this asap!
Can anyone give a good link for similar wall shelves used to display these large sets?
