I went to Gaziantep once in my life. It was incredible to go there from Zonguldak without a license and with alcohol :). I was lucky that I never ran into the police. And it was probably the greatest adventure of my life. In the center of the city was a bar with tables and chairs made of classic cars. When Gaziantep is mentioned, cheap and good cocktails came to my mind. :) Thank you for reminding me of that day. By the way, I love those blue glasses, they look great.
Sounds like a risky adventure. But one that was worth the risk for the memories! We didn't see this bar with the classic cars but maybe it's not there anymore? That would have been cool. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hari OM All those artisanal places are mesmerising - as you say, a view into a more ancient lifestyle. But I love that you were thoughtful of this. I love that you are using at least the few words of Turkish you have and , Courts, I LOVE your style!!! YAM xx
Aren't they?! Could sit and watch that guy singing and moulding copper plates all day!! Gaziantap is a very multi cultural area so not everyone is practicing Ramadan there, hence the restaurants being open which we were grateful for! Would have been gutted to miss that chickpea wrap! Hope you're having a great weekend!
