Great video. Hi there, I’m considering buying a Bosch tumble dryer but I’m worried that it will ball up sheets and bedding (because Bosches rotate in one direction). Have you experienced any balling with fitted sheets and bedding?
TBH, I’m not always drying bedding in it, so for everything else I’ve had no issues. I always hang bedding up to dry naturally, outside in nice weather or over a door on wet cold days, so I really only use it to air and heat bedding, so tbh it’s not a deal breaker for me. At the end of the day you have to make a decision that is best for you, but so far I’ve had absolutely no issues after a fe years and really it gets used 4 times a week, up to 4 loads a time, mainly clothes from the washing machine or lots of airing in Manual timer set.
HooverLux thats true it depends on what you want...I’m looking to buy a new tumble dryer (we really need one to do 90% of out laundry, including our bedding) and washer to replace our 4 year old 6kg Gorenje slim line which is awful (noisy as a machine from the 90s and doesn’t wash clothes as good as my mothers 8kg Bosch). I’ve been looking between the Bosch WAT28661GB with IDOS and AEG 9000 series washer which has the salt water softening feature and the steam feature. And matching tumble dryers from Bosch WTWH7660GB and AEG 8000 series tumble dryer (the AEG has reverse spinning and a drain hose for the condenser dryer which the Bosch doesn’t have). The prices are almost the same in my country, the only problem is that I have a hard time deciding which pair to get. I think that Bosch machines are really well made and I don’t how good is the quality of AEG appliances. Which two would you get? 😊 and sorry for the long reply 😂
You’re welcome, my BOSCH drier does have the water outlet hose, I just haven’t connected it and just use the water drawer. AEG are very good, but I’ve never owned one, so I’m afraid I can’t comment, but there are loads of vids out there. I’d check to see as in the past all my reverse drivers have also bundled up the bedding, so it’s not a new issue for me. I’d check specifically for vids on that and see. I have noticed that my drier does seem to slightly change speed as when I first switch it on the clothes don’t tumble much, but after a minute or two they do as if the turning has slightly decreased to improve tumble action? I don’t know, but it’s what I have observed.
I have the same problem with my new washer - its got the same type of smoked plastic door window and unless you are doing whites or non-dark clothes, you cant see bugger all through it. People kept complaining about not being able to see anything, and I dont always have light coloured stuff to wash. Still, certain people keep pestering me to record new videos of cycles in it. One cheeky fellow told me to pull the perspex cover off the door so he could see in better, but thats not gonna be possible, lol.
I didn’t mind doing it, but I won’t be doing the requests from him again as it was a bit of a bombardment of “when is it going up!!!” messages, so live and learn lol.
You just have to block these people - I have blocked quite a few really annoying people, who just spam up my comments, usually kids, but not always, but you just have to start accepting that all they will do then is start thumbing down your videos (disliking) them - I suspect many of these trolls are the ones who always give Roger, me, and others the thumbs down, as youtube wont stop those you block from deliberately thumbing your videos down.
