To anyone liking these swing dance video's, take some lessons, start some groups in your area, it is more fun than you will ever believe! In Europe you are lucky, swing, Lindy hop and jive seem to be much more common than here in USA, and the people you will meet are amazing too!
You know ANY place in the US that's a hotbed for swing, lindy, boogie woogie? Sure there's some swing and lindy but I can't find boogie woogie anywhere.
@@broadcasttttable You might not be able to find boogie-woogie in the US as the name boogie-woogie is only common in Europe (Wikipedia says). In the US you might find swing-dances like jitterbug, lindy-hop et al.

For those who see such dances for the first time, here is the answer to the most frequently asked question. This video features award-winning (World, American, European, local, etc.) professional dancers and dance teachers invited as dance teachers at RTSF - one of the largest swing dance festivals in the world. In this teacher's jam, which opens the educational part of the festival, they show future students their art of dance and improvisation. There are tons of great RUclips videos of each of the dancers involved in this jam, featuring only modern swing stars. The full list of dancers and songs can be found in the comments.
Couldn't understand all the names, but that lady with the glasses and the orchid in her hair was having The Most Fun out of all of them, and I loved watching her the most! Second favorite is the solo dancer in the red dress, kickin it like crazy! So glad the algorithm put me on to these videos :D
