I have an 800 that I've had for years. Had a couple motors in it over the years. If you're stripping it down to the frame, it'll go together easier. I laid my engine on the floor and wrapped the frame around the motor to get my first two bolts started, then set it on my lift. Helps not scratching paint.. My old Honda CB1100 comes apart basically the same way. It's the only way I was able to do engine work like that by myself.
