Thanks for the video. I've been hearing about how Luton Town's pitch won't be "suitable" for Premiership levels and sure, it isn't as futuristic as something like Tottenham's stadium. But, man any football fan should consider themselves lucky to get a match ticket and be so close to the action. I mean, you're practically close enough to count the blades of grass. Fantastic! Just need the players to wear the old-school black leather boots.

why? City came from there been there done that, been to that ground and no way in hell its a premier league standard ground if they make the premier league they will have to spend million to up grade, place is a hazard
@@gerainthopkins7576 So, what do you need for a ground to be Premier League standard? A regulation-size football pitch. A massive press/media area so plastic 'fans' who've never attended a real match can watch it from the comfort of their own homes. Kenilworth Road has the first; if they win at Wembley in ten days' time they will rebuild most of one stand to provide the second. Where exactly is the hazard?
I know Luton well and it epitomises this country’s decline in the post war years. Plenty of other towns do as well of course but as I am not familiar with the vast majority of them I can’t express my opinion of them.

Jesus, this place looks like a deathtrap waiting to happen. Personally I think the EPL should force them to play elsewhere til the new stadium is finished. This destitute eyesore doesn't need to be on display 19 times a season. (Read just now they can't play here by league charter, so they will play elsewhere for home games in 2023-2024, unless they can throw up the new stadium in record time)
I've not heard anything to suggest they won't be allowed to play their home matches there next season! Where have you got that from? 🤔 As far as I'm aware, the club has already arranged for £10 million pounds worth of improvements to take place as soon as possible to get the ground ready in time for Premier League standards! Now obviously they don't have very long to do that but I understand they'll be removing the row of executive boxes on one side of the stadium to make way for TV production facilities! There's not much they can do in such a short space of time really!
