A Jewish-Muslim zikr (ceremony of 'remembrance') in Ashland, Oregon, on May 4th, 2014. After an introduction by Rabbi David Zaslow of Congregation Shir Hadash, Pir & Rebbe Zalman (Sulayman) Schachter-Shalomi (1924-2014), and Pir Ibrahim Abdurrahman Farajajé (1953-2016), they lead the congregation in zikr, followed by chanting by Shaykh Issa Nessim Enver Farajajé. 4.08. A Turkish sufi woman. Her community is made up of Muslims, Jews and Christians. Does anyone know where that is? My wife, who is Turkish, thinks it's probably Konya, birthplace of Rumi. If anyone can tell me for sure I would be grateful.
