This reminds me of the days when families actually sat down and had conversations like this. People connecting and sharing thoughts and ideas as well as problems and discussing solutions. I like that you can agree to disagree and it's okay. Well done.

Good point on the talking to others segment.
Are there any agricultural discussion groups in Ayrshire? Too old for young farmers and still don't know many folk round here.
RABI was ace when I had a dog attack a few weeks after I started. I was LIVID and raging and being new, had no one to speak to about it.

And Cannabis is legal in Canada. Really isn't a problem. We have trouble with alcohol and street drugs like meth.

In San Diego, California we have a zoo that is world famous for the size of the enclosures. The elephants are a close family units, sharing a n 8 acre enclosure. The wildlife care specialists each have Bachelors of Science degrees and/or psychology degrees. Each animal breed has a nutritionist (or two) to make certain that the animals get proper nutrition for the breed. They all get new play toys and sometimes they get yams frozen in blocks to smash with glee. The animals may be in captivity, but they are all happy a d live in family groups.

You're a very well educated man. If you speak about something you know nothing about, it always comes with a legal disclaimer that you don't know for certain if this product is best.

I loved it when I was 7 at went to Florida in the early 90s and saw the Orcas. But then when I realised how they lived. It was blood awful. Beautiful creatures that don't deserve to be in a fish tank.
You'll always piss someone off on the internet. A lot of them find problems because their lives are so damn easy they have nothing proper to complain about.
    #BringBackCrystalyxHandles
I'm finding the Scottish humour different, but you can still tell they're messing and not being a malicious aresehole. It's the same with my sheep, I'd only look for advice from breeders and farmers I look up either from the quality of their stock or the systems they use.
An opinion I have is that I wouldn't buy cull ewes to get a lamb out of them as to me, its a welfare issue if someone has sold a ewe prone to prolapse and someone is going to risk that happening again.
I think it it was legalised in the UK it would be good, and could raise funds, because currently the big medical cannabis farms are often conveniently linked to MPs who magically benefit. It would give farmers another way to diversify

Just because Cannabis is legal Cammy doesn’t mean people are always high. It’s been legal in Canada with the government collecting taxes since July 30 2001. Alcohol is still the #1 problem.

Once it’s legalised the hype around it will fade youngsters won’t be as eager to use when it’s legal there’s no fun in that lol

I hate to add to controversy, but Cammy...you have fallen for propaganda regarding Blackfish. All these propaganda, anti-SeaWorld and anti-Zoos are no different to the propaganda we see aimed at farming. It's all part of the same thing and when you see the rebuttals to the lies that were told in Blackfish and almost every other propaganda film made in the name of animal rights...almost all are based on lies told by people with bad intentions. Please do not fall for it because the very same attack is being done to farmers here in Scotland and the UK..and in Europe more generally.
