I had a lot of backlash 38 years ago, when my pediatrician said my daughter should not get whopping cough vaccine, because she had epilepsy. Some people said she should get it anyway, for the benefit of other children. Doctor said no, because it would bring on more seizures. I listened to the doctor. Each case is individual.
That's interesting my pregnant daughter was pressed to have the WHOPPING COUGH vax and its also diphtheria and tetanus we found out later . The baby wasn't growing due to the placenta degeneration a emergency C section was performed and the baby had fits in scuba too .

Your doctor did absolutely right. 38 years ago I was working with a team of other scientists in the Danish Serum Institute on the development of a vaccine against whooping cough which should have less side effects than the usual one. It was definetely not recommended to vaccinate children with epilepsy or other brain disorders. During our studies we vaccinated pregnant mice in order to see if the mother's antibodies would be transmiitted through the milk. The result could not be more clear and was published : almost all newborn mice had physical disorders, mainly exencephalos. It gives me the creeps that pregnant women these days are urged to be vaccinated against whooping cough. The doctors doing this are criminal.
Did you read the Zhibin Yao studies? They found a dose dependent response in murine neuro-developmental problems. Wire mesh hang, socialization, maze negotiation,., all tests were negatively affected. This has been common knowledge in the "anti-" community ever since.

Sorry. Whilst I have every sympathy for any ill child, I cannot agree with medicating everyone else for their benefit unless the medication/vaccine risk of side effects is zero. Nobody can expect anybody else to risk their own health for somebody else, particularly in a case like this where if the entire world were vaccinated there is no guarantee of risk reduction for the immunocompromised child, as a different illness could affect them.
To be honest, the pandemic has made me cynical of all and any medical intervention including vaccines. I have seen so many lies, manipulated data, conspiracy theories, politicisation, censorship, coercion and contradiction in public health advice I cannot believe anything anybody says, publishes, broadcasts or prints.
In saying that, I do wish the family good health and luck for the future.

Although I have a medical background, I have known all my adult life that doctors are often wrong abut things. You have to think for yourself, but you also need to use wisdom. You don't want to get permanently damaged or die from a stroke or heart attack or cancer because you blindly refuse to see a doctor. If you do your own research, find out what questions to ask, and what alternatives there are, you can avoid much of the damage Western Medicine can cause.
I agree that the level of cover ups and lies is greater than even a skeptical person like myself knew about, yet the true info is there if you look for it. Remember, YOU are in control. You decide whether or not to take medical advice.
And the irony is that there's always one that screams "get your vaccines or you'll kill someone, but if you don't get your vaccines I hope you die" ....such lovely caring souls...you know who you are

I’m immune suppressed and was able to have a non active vaccination against Shingles, it’s given in two separate injections over two months. I’m over 70. I hope Clara has a long and wonderful life. Big hugs.

Yes it’s like not seen medicine refuses to treat people nowadays. They prefer to inject the healthy.
My healthy relative received a chicken pox vaccine in childhood, and a different strain than the one in the vaccine was circulating. She caught it several months later, and ended up with viral encephalitis and apparently life long challenges with migraines (according to her attending neurologist, this was all from the chicken pox infection). Chicken pox is not trivial and there is no way to know who will go on to develop liver and central nervous system injury.

Here in Germany we have almost no chickenpox anymore. But there are other problems now:
People who had chickenpox in their childhood more often develop herpes zoster, because they do not have regular contact to the virus anymore. But it sleeps in their body and has to be controlled by immunsystem.
The other problem is, that there are some people who have no protection vaccine and did not have chickenpox in their childhood. (Because of "herd immunity).
Sometimes, vaccines do not work, sonetimes, the protection fades without refreshing by contact to natural virus, some people must not get vaccinated or there are different viral strains.
The result is: Some people catch chickenpox as an adult. And that is a very dangerous and bad thing!!!!
My husbands coworker went to hospital for several weeks, when he caught chickenpox as an adult. He was vacciated and had no perconditions but did not have chickenpox in his childhood.
So I do not think the vaccine is a really good solution at all. I am affraid that, if protection of the vaccine fades during the next decades, there might be great outbreaks in adults. I hope this wont be the case, but I am affraid it could be.

Actually cases of chickenpox were rarely fatal... but the adult version of shingles often is... or at least it feels like you are dying fom the constant stabbing pains that takes weeks to months to fade. Note that despite the shingles vaccine, a lot of people who have taken a more recent vaccine for another disease are coming down with bad cases of shingles... my eldest brother is still recovering from it since he caught it in March or April... I had it decades ago and had it for 2 weeks.

Have you even watched this interview? Clara is immunocompromised because of liver transplant. She has to take immunosupressants till the end of her life. Any infection is potentially fatal for her…
Back in the 70’s and 80’s we had Chicken Pox parties. They get it once and its done. My children born in the mid 80’s all had the virus. It was not a big deal. Hated keeping them home for the period required, but we did it.

What an absolute nightmare this poor family have gone through, and the obvious strength of their little girl is amazing. The further worry of Clara coming into contact with the chickenpox virus must weigh heavy for these parents. I remember having chickenpox when I was13 and it wasn't pleasant. Yes, they have been through it, I contracted Chicken Pox aged 44, not had it as a child, I developed Pneumonitis, I heard Drs telling my Wife I was very serious, took a year to fully recover, must have been expensive to treat me in Hospital so may be a vaccine for Parents who hadn't had Varicella before would have spared me that horrible experience.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for your discussion. My empathy for what your child was/is going through with liver disease is immeasurable.
My daughter was born over two months premature with congenital hepatitis B that I contracted from my physicians office during a blood draw. This was back in the 70s before the age of disposable needles and auto claves were used. She spent almost 3 weeks in isolation in the hospital and just over 4 pounds with doctors unable to treat her illness with anything that was available for adults. Our struggle in our journey included people who would not only misunderstand how her prematurity affected her how her liver disease as a premature baby caused her to be allergic to almost everything and incredibly vulnerable to every virus that she was exposed to from herpes cold sores from other children in day care, influenza, to chickenpox that covered and scarred her body.
She developed severe asthma in her mid teens and even with a physicians written excuse from class was told by her teachers and the principal of the school that she would not be allowed to homeschool because “asthma is a psychosomatic illness“ and that therapy would probably be better than homeschooling. This year she celebrated her 50th birthday and has a child of her own. We have celebrated every single day of her life so far. As a parent if there was anything I could have done to alleviate her suffering I would have.
After her birth I was in a semi-comatose state for three days suffering from the same virus. Since there were no NICUs in those days, I met my daughter the day I took her home. She was almost a month old at 5 pounds. I will never forget that day.

And, again, I get confused why I hear that we immunize to protect others. This has not been my experience. Doesn’t it make sense that the ones vaccinated are safe from the unvaccinated? This was a weird argument during COVID-19 too. I actually got covid twice from two different friends of mine that were both double jabbed.

However I will not vaccinate my children for the 'greater good', eradication of chickenpox could well have unintended consequences for them later in life, though I understand the risks with Shingles.
For instance mumps may lead to the expression and immune recognition of an ovarian tumor suppression gene, thereby creating effective immune surveillance of the cancer cells.
For me, chicken pox is not pathogenic enough for me to allow vaccination.

I had my liver lacerated during routine liver biopsy. I was bleeding internally and they didn’t know it at the time. I almost died. I immediately passed out, all this was told to me afterward. I was in a coma for 4 days and on a ventilator. I spent 14 days in the hospital recovering. My liver is put together with wire mesh.
No liver biopsy is routine! It's straight up controlled mutilation. Pandoras box.. the liver is never meant to accessed like that, that's why it's secured INSIDE the body... the hubris of medical science to assume you can just take a piece out here and a piece out there to "study" and everything will just keep on working the way it's supposed to. Of course we know that the percentage of data collected there is extremely limited, with physicians and regulatory agencies dismissing almost all temporally associated events as non causally related, in spite of no controlled studies to support that position.
The risk to children that don't get chicken pox is the real question. Chicken pox is something humans need to go through for our bodies to grow properly. It is a change shortly before puberty to prepare for adolescence. My guess it's necessary for proper reproduction. But I'm just a rogue scholar with no fancy letters after my name what would I know.

I must have had Chicken pox as a child because for years after, starting at age 18, I was constantly plagued with Shingles. It would start on my neck and ascend up behind my left ear gradually appearing on my forehead and at the end above my left eye. By then I was about 60 years of age, I was terrified it would go into my eye and affect my sight. I saw my GP who suggested the vaccine for which I had to have a private prescription and the cost for the vaccine was £150! I have not had any shingles since. I am now 68, and although I have had no reoccurrence of Shingles, I did start getting cold sores on my top left lip, whereas previously I had never ever had cold sores. Now of course I do understand that Shingles and cold sores are caused by a different virus but one consultant I saw (for a check up on a lump that I had on my face -proved to be nothing) and chatted about the strange occurrence of cold sores after the vaccine, he said it may be that because you had shingles so often it may have over ridden the cold sore virus, whereas, now that the Shingles has been effectively suppressed, the cold sore virus can rear its ugly head but it was just a theory, but to me made sense. Interestingly, I have had Fibromyalgia for about 40 years and one consultant who was also a virologist and bacteriologist said that they believed that the Chicken pox virus lies dormant next to the spinal cord and tests indicate after a major trauma, ie, bereavement, bad bout of influenza, shock etc, the virus can jump into the spinal cord and travel around the body giving Fibromyalgia symptoms! My search for more relevant info on this found that it was being investigated in the US. Do you Dr Campbell have any more up to date info, or what are your thoughts on my now getting cold sores and having Fibromyalgia and my previous Shingles problem? I should mention I am female. I was told by a doctor I needed a shingles vaccine because I had shingles in my 20's. The fool that I am I said ok. Woke up the next morning with shingles.

I am now 68 and living in house with someone who has had latest needles and I am surprised to have had 3 lots of cold sores recently. Even to point of beginning on side of face. Very suspect for me as I haven’t had the cold sores for years. Certainly agree is all stress related. I too have fibromyalgia. When it flares I have great trouble even getting my legs to move so obviously spinal related.

My boys both got chicken pox TWICE after being in the very early group that received the Varicella Vaccine. I understand the protocol has been changed since then, but it certainly wasn't protective for them at the time.

@@catmom9755 Thanks! I've looked it up on wikipedia, it does indeed say that a significant portion of people are still susceptible to mild disease after the vaccine, and a small fraction might not develop a protective immune response at all.

I had the Delta Variant of covid19 in November 21. It lasted around 3 months and I was deathly Ill. It was weird. I am 62 years old and I haven’t ever experienced an illness like that. I understand why people took the vaccine. My Mom took the vaccine and she died the next morning. I’m still in horrible grief. I sure hope that things get better for all of us. The chicken pox vaccine is also causing lots of other issues. Children can still get chicken pox. We do see in NZ now young children with shingles , at increasing rates among young adults. Never seen this before in my nursing career . The incidence has gone up since NZ has made it available
My daughter was vaccinated according to the CDC schedule, born 1998. She then began to suffer from Severe allergic reactions: eggs, peanuts and penicillin. She also got Shingles as a child. I believe the Vax caused this, I have two other children who suffered from Seizure and Speech Regression! The Pediatrician injecting these poisons into them accused me of being crazy because I questioned the jabs. She even fired me because I refused to continue.

@@Sheeds214 we are told the childhood jabs are life saving and the biggest advance in medicine ever, but this it just not true. If you investigate the true history of jabs you will see that the death rates from the common childhood diseases had dropped to almost zero, before the jabs were introduced. The jabs are causing more problems than they are solving, but you are treated like a crazy person if you say this. Auto-immune diseases have sky rocketed in line with the increase in childhood jabs. Most of these illness simply didn't exist when l grew up. A poorly child was a very rare thing...not anymore.

I feel sorry for the parents and the child, but ethics state, medical procedures are only supposed to be given to a patient, for the benefit of that patient, no one else.

Couldn’t agree more. Chicken pox is a right of passage..when I was a child my mums friends had chicken pox parties to just get it over and done with. I do not know one person who has been damaged by chicken pox. My Daughter had it at infant school and it went through the class. It wasn’t pleasant but again I don’t know any children now that I am a parent who was damaged by chicken pox. I am so sick of the vaccine culture. Our poor immune systems are going to be non existent. More attention needs to be paid to a healthy lifestyle and vitamin D levels so that our bodies are in an optimal state to be able to fight viruses off. The thought of every child being vaccinated to protect a few is shocking.

I'm at a point now where I simply have no trust in the NHS, the final straw came when the NHS sent me a letter stating I had to get my young son vaccinated against c19, despite his risk being practically zero from covid, and the fact he already caught covid and was fine. The NHS knows he caught it and recovered.

I'd be interested to hear if and when the parents of Clara got their c19 shots. Strange things happen after the shots, even to dogs and pets. What I hear from John is more vaccciinnnnes to protect others. Create a problem and offer a solution. Feel sorry for Clara but there were more kids with the misterious child hepatitis.
I lady l worked with recently told me that her best friends perfectly healthy daughter, who was aged around 19 years old, had liver failure out of nowhere. She luckily got a transplant with a few days after being rushed to hospital. Apparently she was put to the top of the transplant list. I asked if the young girl had been jabbed recently and she had been. She had received the experimental jab which we are assured is both safe and effective.

I am watching... and don't find if the mother was vaccinated with anti-covid. One question for us is if the child received spike protein from the mother, or if the ARNm received, generated spike protein which accumulated in the liver. Could it be possible that the 'rare' hepatitis is actually an adversed event from anti-covid vaccines.

What a heart wrenching situation this family has faced and will continue to face. I love to see that they want to do all they can to help keep their little one safe, this little girl is very loved.
I did want to make mention of a concern I have with the issuing out the varicella vaccine nationally in your area. I am in the United States, and as said, we have been giving this vaccine to kids for a while now. My daughter had a bad reaction to hers so she had to stay home for a few days after she received hers, but her reaction wasn’t the norm, and many kids will be fine after this vaccine.. which is actually where my concern comes in. As said, the varicella vaccine is a live virus, which is why Clara cannot receive it BUT she also shouldn’t be around anyone that has recently received it either. I know that we were advised that even if my kiddo hadn’t gotten sick from it, that she shouldn’t be around infants, pregnant woman in the third trimester, and immunosuppressed individuals. My concern is that if Clara is around a child who had this vaccine, it may not be made known until she actually falls ill because being around someone that has received the live vax could be the same thing as being exposed to it. Fortunately, children in the US are supposed to have their second and final varicella vax by age 5 so once in actual school, she would be fine but I would be cautious about any daycare facility and make sure all friends understand the dangers whether they had their child catch chicken pox or receive the vax. Just something to keep in mind.. i think more research needs to be done on this but I shared a link that also concluded this info specifically in liver transplant recipients..
I really hope the best for Clara and her family and pray that better medicines that won’t decrease her ability to fight viruses will become available in the near future and that they’re able to make successful steps forward in their efforts.

You're absolutely correct. I commented that I wouldn't put her in daycare or get her any vaccines. The daycare/nursing home/destroy the family unit so we can send raise the cost of living, put women to work because they now have to and tax them (sure feels like slavery) experiment has failed. We're supposed to have the grandparents watching the children and doing the healthy cooking while the parents work if both have to. When the grandparents get old the younger generations care for them the best they can. Nurse to come to the house if needed and if you have to put them in a facility you have to also go and help care for them or they get neglected. Working as a team is the way to go. It breaks my heart the nursing home daycare thing. Daycares are just disease vectors omg. I would never send my baby to one now. I didn't like the idea before covid.

People need to be aware the tech in what most people have taken this past 18 months is now being implemented in all. Dr Campbell, I've been thinking about how to bring this up or who would even listen. This may not be the appropriate place but as the title was viral hepatitis, I'm going speak about something that really worries me.
I live in Texas. In the mid 1980's, the first hepatitis vaccine came out. I was working as a nurse in the recovery room and the hospital offered it to employees in high risk reas. I took the full series of Heptavax. After a waiting period, we were tested and of everyone vaccinated, I didn't recovery. I had another injection, nope. About eighteen months later, Recombivax became available. I was now working in OR and was offered this new vaccine. I took the full series just as recommended and didn't convert. The infection control department, responsible for giving the vaccines, talked to the manufacturer and the advice was a booster. No conversion. Another booster, no conversion. Nobody could tell me wat it meant. I cornered, as nursees did and still do, every specialist that set foot in the hospital, that might have an answer, some knowledge. Their answers were the same. Never heard of someone not converting after booster or different vaccine. That either I would never get hep B or be dead in 3 days if I did.
Skip ahead 40 years o the present. After my grandchildren were born and Hi found out about routine hep B vaccination of newborns, I did some digging. I found metadata on people who had the vaccine and didn't seroconvert. The three metadata articles I found said that of those who didn't convert, over 75% went on to develope autoimmune diseases twenty to twenty five years after vaccination. Lupus, Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis being most common. I have Psoriatic Arthritis. There is no family history of anything like his in my family.
My concern is there being no research, that I could find, that is looking for whether this is a coincidence, is this a genetic mutation that expresses itself in different ways or is there a causation among certain people. Millions of these hep B vaccines are being given to a population I've never known to be high risk. Why was there such a fuss over babies getting the first dose before discharge from hospital?
I think vaccination is a miracle. My mother told me about the polio outbreaks in Georgia when she was five. My granny talked about my grandaddy nearly dying from Spainish flu. But recent events have shown the profit made from the ever increasing list of vaccinations babies are getting. If you know anything about the hep B vac, I'd appreciate your opinion. I'm very afraid it's being overlooked.
I'm a mom in Canada, with 4 happy grown children. I remember when they were all in school, they brought forms home from school for hep B inoculations. I have been asking myself some of these same questions since then. It's all very troublesome on my heart. I survived the spinal meningitis outbreak of the 90s. I was 6, facing the possibly of death with those around me dying.
I spent a lifetime with PTSD, Anxiety, and survivors guilt. I am now in therapy, with supressed memories occuring. That initial trauma of hospital made it harder for me to deal with others. The root of my anxiety comes from then! The knowledge is empowering!

I am a parent who cringes at the thought of mandatory vaccinations against anything because
I have a daughter who is now a quadriplegic due to an 'ordinary' vaccine. She is on a long list of medications in order for her body to function, all those functions died when her spinal cord was attacked by her immune system. Some of the medications prevent her from taking anti-viral etc
The common cold can end her life. She can not cough or even blow her nose.
I do not mean to be negative in my comment. Just wanting to let you know that there is a down side to vaccines that do not get talked about.
As with all medicine, individual considerations are a must yet sometimes we have to go to battle for that and get a lot of negative flack for that.
I am so sorry for all you have had to go through and for what you are facing. I hope you can find a support group for yourselves so that you do not feel so isolated and so that you can benefit from what others who have gone before have learned and, in my experience, are more that happy to share with others.
Children that face these physical challenges are some that have indomitable spirits that touch the lives of many they come in contact with.

Here in the US, Robert Kennedy Jr has spent practically all of his legal career going up against the lies etc that enshroud, and thus protect, the drug manufacturers in regards to the hazards of immunizations especially as to the their part involved in the 'cover up' of nature of autism and SIDS. It is sad to say that now-a-days most of the general public accept autism as 'normal' - that it has always existed. I know better. I have friends who know better.
The issue is vast and complex yet the crux of the matter, in my eyes, remains in MANDATES that require EVERYONE to blindly follow the guidelines of institutions that have been proven to be corrupt. We have seen that in spades with all that has transpired due to our current pandemic.
A large part of the problem, in my opinion, also lies in the public domain wherein individuals demonize people who want to have a choice in the matter. We are threatened and shunned in a myriad of ways and I find that fact is more terrifying than anything else; institutions or individuals that have so much power that they can turn people agains their own families and communities without so much as a bat of an eye.
So, how do you get the people to see the truth? I wonder….as I have for decades and yet, I have not made much progress even, sad to say, within my own family.

Regarding chicken pox ...I got my daughter vaccinated as someone we knew their little boy died of complications when he caught it in nursery perfectly healthy child. For the vast majority it's not too serious ...but for some it's so dangerous I can understand the parents point of view . Once it's in a classroom it burns through so quick they've got no chance avoiding it. Hopefully there's something out there for their daughter to stop her getting it.

I got shingles after a bad neck disc injury not surprisingly down the same nerve that was affected when I was about 19 or 20. Haven't had it since but I remember the stabbing pains that continued for months after. The closest thing I've had to that is in Sept 2019 I had a mostly asymptomatic covid infection that resulted in those kinds of stabbing pains in a cranial nerve that went on for at least a month. In Dec 2019 I got infected with another variant and had a far more severe instance. That same cranial nerve felt like it was going to explode with the headache and coughing.
When my 3 year old got the varicella vaccine, which sheds the live virus for 4-6 weeks according to the FDA, I got shingles in my eye and spent 2 months on disability. Maybe everyone should be more particular about which Varicella vaccine the children get.

Poor baby, poor family. What a nightmare. Were either of the parents injected with AZ prior to Clara's illness? I believe there was some worry about transfer/shedding/breastmilk as that drug is adenovirus-based, is it not? I suppose Dr Campbell is not allowed to address that on RUclips.

I'm sorry for you parents, I have a daughter with Lupus and I know the best thing to do is to protect them as best we can, that may mean one of you has to give up a career to stay home. We do not put the responsibility on others, why? Because EVERY medical intervention carries risk. My daughter was diagnosed at 13, her symptoms started shortly after her middle school vaccines. No doctor can guarantee me that the Lupus wasn't woken up thanks to manipulating her immune system via the middle school vaccines. We do many things thinking the medical system has all the health answers only to be disappointed time after time. We now know that people with depression didn't benefit from an "antidepressant" thanks to a study. My daughter was taking a medication that got pulled because it contained a cancer causing agent. Some people took it for years. We know the baby powder by Johnson and Johnson causes cancer. How many stories of normal children regressing into Autism do we have to hear before we take a serious look into the issue? Again, I'm sorry that your family is going through this, but no one else should subject their children to an intervention that may cause harm on them to potentially protect another person. Dr. John, now think about what you said when it comes to shingles. Why do adults get shingles? It's because they are not in contact with children who are going through chicken pox. They would get a natural boost and not develop shingles. So now these parents have to not only worry about children who may have chicken pox, but adults who may have shingles. How about you guys look into homeopathic medicine that helps fight against chicken pox. Saracenia Pupurea helps with other pox viruses, maybe check that out.

I'm glad the transplant was a success. I hope there is a development in targetted immunosuppression i.e. training the immune system to accept the new liver, whist keeping it active.

A lot of times an abnormal immune response to a virus (rather than the virus itself) causes organ damage. If medical science can figure out why and how this happens in some patients , we can get a better handle on a lot of conditions (for example type 1 Diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis and maybe even some cancers)
Please do a show on the MMR+V coz it caused febrile seizures (more cases compared to MMR alone) and tics to my kid. No one tells parents there are kids who can't get those coz they may have allergies to neomycin (or family history) .
C*C deleted the study in their website its links to PANS disease in children compared to MMR or Varicella in separate doses.

So glad I had chicken pox, mumps, rubella & measles before I even started school - thanks to 2 older brothers! Haven’t had shingles vax yet & I’m very nervous about getting it or not.
I had all the childhood illnesses & I most certainly won't be getting any shingles vaccine.
I've heard quite a few instances where people who got the jab for shingles, got shingles afterwards. I had chicken pox when I was 4, so I'll skip that shot. If the 'rona laying me out like it did didn't trigger shingles, I doubt anything will until I'm old and at death's doorstep
I had the shingles vaccine. Was I ill. I had every side effect accept 1 that was on the NHS Web site. It lasted a week. I've never had shingles. Was I stupid to have it?
When I was in my 50s, I asked my GP about the Shingles vaccine because I had chicken pox when I was in grammer school. He said, yes, you could take it, but on the other hand it could cause you to get it, too. Now, I am seeing comments here that this indeed did happen to a lot of people. I am glad I received a warning and decided to not take it.
My son got shingles at 18 years old. He said he was stressed out and not sleeping enough when it happened. I think paying attention to your body, avoiding antibiotics as much as possible, and taking natural supplements, resting, drinking enough water, etc., to ward off illness early on, are the way to regain your immune health. You should avoid toxic chemicals in food and in your environment, as well.
After a few years avoiding antibiotics, I stopped catching even colds. Didn't catch the flu either, although year after year loads of people around me got it.

I was born in 1986 and I received the chicken pox vaccine and MMR. I still got chicken pox, and rubella.

We did not have chickenpox vaccines when younger and no one thought anything about it. My husban ended up getting chickenpox at age 29 and it was horrific. The disease is much more virulent as an adult. He did recover but he has scarring all over his face, neck and chest. The pox occurred in his nose, ear and even under the eyelids. You just can't imagine how severe this disease is in an adult.

Yeah, we didn't have chicken pox vaxxes when I was a kid either... but everyone knew how important it was to make sure you kid caught it in childhood. That's why when one kid got it, we were all made to go share drinks and food to spread the illness amongst ourselves. It spoiled some weeks of that summer vacation when I was 9, but preferable to getting it as an adult.
Jeez that’s awful. I had it as a child not vaccinated. My daughter appeared to have had it (can’t be sure) she had no symptoms apart from spots age 5 type 1 diabetic. Thankful she was ok.
