This play is the perfect example why the third baseman should be a leftie and not a righty. As a righty, he had to dive and rich across his body to make the grab and then make the play. If he was a leftie, the play would have not been so close…. Never the less, credit goes to this third baseman for having talent and high skill to make the play that he did… But if he was a leftie, that play would have been routine!
