The name of whoever had spoken the words carved into the worn stone was forever lost to history; if there had been some grand city beyond the now-missing gates, no trace of it remained, wiped clean by the hands of time or perhaps some enemy unimpressed by chiseled proclamations.

As you stare into the darkness at the ceiling trying to get sleep you are overthinking everything that happened after January 20th 2025 ...
