- Hello my imaginative insects, in today's soft spoken medical roleplay ASMR, I'll be your nurse, performing a lice check and some lice removal.
This one's got LOTS of layered sounds designed to give you lots of tingles, and there will be a scalp/head massage, touching your face, a bit of a haircut, washing your hair, combing your hair, playing with your hair, flashlight triggers, and more! I'll be walking beside and behind you as well for 360 degree sounds! I'll be mostly softly speaking with a bit of whispering ear to ear.

implement, appliance, apparatus, instrument, widget, watchamacallit or a thingamajig

Well it's definitely a multipurpose tool, so I guess it would depend on the video.
So if it was used for gently poking, then it could be called a poking instrument/poking implement. For this video it could be called a hair parting instrument/hair parting implement.
@@Adam_Bombz poking implement sounds mildly scary to me hahaha for medical things I usual call it a reflex tester or something like that

Headlice could be a traumatic experience but you are so kind and caring that is wasn't bad at all.
I've actually never had lice before, but I can imagine that it's absolutely awful, especially for a child!

I had something once. I had to take a bath in with some medicated shampoo. I was only in kindergarten. I used to play outside a lot in some tall grass, so it might have been ticks, or something else all together.
To me the worst part was I had to play somewhere else.

Ah I'm sorry you dislike the background! Other than green screen it's kind of my only option right now since the walls in my studio are BRIGHT white, which isn't really conducive to ASMR haha. I am moving at the end of the year though to my own apartment, and there I'll actually be able to decorate a room with shelves and fairy lights, so I'm excited for that!
