    I had one just like it down to the green color. Mine had a white vinyl roof though. 350 Rocket engine. It was like new. I am over 70 now and still remember that car.

    This brings back fond memories. The greenish dash and beige cloth seats :) with that royal-looking pattern on the upper seatbacks and the more subtle pattern in the lower fabric -- it harkens back to elegant home furnishings.
    And the '73-only front and rear fascias are the best-looking of the whole run.

      I agree. They were a very classy car. And they drove like a dream.

    I had a 73 Cutlass Supreme in the early '80s with a five-speed. I loved that car.

    My Dad purchased a used 73 white with light blue vinyl top and light blue interior Cutlass Supreme back in 75. It was loaded and had a special order 455 in it. The car had the bench seat and not the buckets but it was very comfortable and had the center arm rest. That car drive beautifully and was super fast. It threw you back in your seat when floored. It was a blast to drive. I think my dad sold it in 1980 for $350. I wish he would have kept it.

    Beautiful car. I love the color. Interesting that GM put the clock on the left side of the dash. The 70’s was a great era.

    • @rocketredd1791
      @rocketredd1791  2 года назад +1

      Yes - it was a model update. From 68 - 72 were basically the same. 73 - 77 same body, 78 - 88 same body.

    My second car was a ‘73 Cutlass Supreme 4 door. That thing was a dreadnaught. Could carry 8 or 9 skinny high school kids inside, 3-4 of us could sit on the roof without worries as well. Perfect shape when I bought it in ‘85 and it would start just by barely touching the key and ran as quiet as you could want. . . . Was not great for delivering pizzas though. The frenched taillights made the perfect step to climb up on the car.
