From Addicted to Stay with Me to this Thai Adaptation, I hope that season 2 should be aired. The open ending in the season 1 was so stressful to handle. im hoping that thai adaptation won' fail us this time.
Personally, I think they already failed in casting Bai Luo Yin actor. BLY is not supposed to look soft, pretty, or have bubbly personality like that 😂 It's just not him. But let's see... I have high expectations because I read the entire story, books 1 and 2, so I know each character by heart.

When I saw the casting for this, I immediately had my doubts. Especially because I have read the whole series, and watched both adaptations of the book. I was excited for Thailand to do a version, cause they probably wouldn't have any restrictions on the NC scenes, or even the depth of their relationship. After seeing this trailer, I am truly excited for this to come out. The actors were able to convey the obsessive relationship they had as well as the level of love they had. If you read the book, you know they literally went through hell to be together, and it looks like they are going to show some things that neither adaptations were able to add, but were so important in conveying HOW obsessed they each were for each other. I cannot wait! Good job, Jinloe!
The original Addicted: Heroin was really ahead of it's time. From the storyline to the chemistry of actors, everything was perfect. It was so devastating that they could not push for Season 2 bc of Chin4's weird ass homophobiic restrictions. So I hope this version can give all of us the closure we all deserve. Please let it be 12-16 episodes. Finish it all in one season, we all have PTSD in season2 promises.

Whoever says no one can beat the original or whatever it is, this Thai version makes my heart beat faster and goosebumps because of the two main lead actors. Their acting, softness and handsomeness makes my heart fluster. Of course I watched both 2016 original version long time ago and stay with me(remake) 2023 but this version gives me different vibes. They don't need to copy everything from the original actors just act the way they are. If the storyline is not very different from the novel, it's alright. I respect each and every actors as we don't know exactly how they try hard for the series especially remark the famous series. That's why please don't compare the actors and give some respect. For me, I'm so addicted to this Thai version and the two lead actors, GusMac who I knew them from this series. Fighting GusMac! You're really great. Support you until the end!

I went in knowing that getting attached to the story and characters was going to hurt because their full story would never be told due to censorship. I don't get much into Chinese dramas, but I couldn't resist...and as a fan of Thai dramas...this story being told...well, life is complete! I can't wait to watch this over and over again. Its beautiful and even intimacy can be compared to original version. But no one can be compare to johnny huang's Romantic, caring,scary and manly personality and his intense performance. I'm really waiting for this, I hope they adapt 2 books so that the ending doesn't hang like the previous 2 series Addicted (2016) & Stay With Me (2023) which only adapted 1 book and wasn't continued. This series is very good, I support a remake that is close to the original story like the (2016) version, I hope the 2 original songs from Addicted Heroin (2016) can be returned & remake using Thai, August & Max are the best choices for Hero (Gu Hai / Wu Bi) & Pop (Bai Lou Yin/Su Yu)

The original Version was my gateway to the BL world so it's always gonna be my all time favorite. When I saw the initial cast for the Thai version I lost all hope and interest in it because they looked underage but the new cast looks okay. No matter what my love would always be with the original version but my fingers are crossed for this one as well.

It has a military and political vibe, great. Although part one is about school youth, the military theme is still the dominant theme of the entire story. Gu Hai is still the son of someone in the military and grew up in a military environment since he was a child, so the military and political vibe in him must have been very strong even from part 1. So the military and political vibe in this version is great. It proves that the filmmaker understands the true work of the novel. The military and political atmosphere is something I have not seen in both the original and the second remake of this story. But this version does.

Bai luo yin looks so out of the character. They made him all sweet and fluffy which is far from real bai luo yin. I shouldn't have expected much from the director of WHAT THE DUCK
Couldn't agree more... 😐The choice for Gu Hai is perfect, I love it, the actor fits the character perfectly. But Bai Lou Yin...no way... The actor seems fragile, delicate and too soft looking... He's supposed to be sassy, extremely smart, feisty and quick-witted. He looks way too young also (I know he's 16, but he looks even younger and it's weird). It's such a shame... At least, I hope this time around we will get closure. I'm very happy to see Jur ("Burger") and Newyear ("King"), though 🤣🤣🤣

I went in knowing that getting attached to the story and characters was going to hurt because their full story would never be told due to censorship. I'm really waiting for this, I hope they adapt 2 books so that the ending doesn't hang like the previous 2 series Addicted (2016) & Stay With Me (2023) which only adapted 1 book and wasn't continued. This series is very good, I support a remake that is close to the original story like the (2016) version, I hope the 2 original songs from Addicted Heroin (2016) can be returned & remake using Thai, August & Max are the best choices for Hero (Gu Hai / Wu Bi) & Pop (Bai Lou Yin/Su Yu)
In the casting day, they already planning to make season 2 also!

I've been so addicted to Chinese version of this series.... But now made me more addicted, especially to the characters.. Thank you for doing a new version of this series. Keep it up, and for Hero make it more addicted on scene just like in Chinese version. I know you can do it.. Thank again.. Hoping as well that there will be a season 2.
The original Version was my gateway to the BL world so it's always gonna be my all time favorite. When I saw the initial cast for the Thai version I lost all hope and interest in it because they looked underage but the new cast looks okay. No matter what my love would always be with the original version but my fingers are crossed for this one as well.

So the military and political vibe in this version is great. It proves that the filmmaker understands the true work of the novel.
The military and political atmosphere is something I have not seen in both the original and the second remake of this story.

Couldn't agree more... 😐The choice for Gu Hai is perfect, I love it, the actor fits the character perfectly. But Bai Lou Yin...no way... The actor seems fragile, delicate and too soft looking... He's supposed to be sassy, extremely smart, feisty and quick-witted. He looks way too young also (I know he's 16, but he looks even younger and it's weird). It's such a shame...
